Check Out Diana Aguayo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Aguayo.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As a first gen Latina I started my thrifting society as a way to bridge cost friendly fashion and sustainability. I also host free events and help foster friendships within the community. My mission is to look good while doing good. I believe fashion is an art and a way that I express myself to others.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a learning process. Hosting free events has been expensive on my end and also time consuming. I have been working on balancing the two. I am a one woman show wearing multiple hats. I have to remind myself that I can do everything but I don’t need to do everything.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I started a thrift society to help foster community while also being sustainable and helping give secondhand clothing a new life.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My sister, family, and close friend group have been very supportive of my journey. Always trusting in my process and showing up for me whether physically or emotionally.
