Check Out Eduardo Velasquez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eduardo Velasquez

Hi Eduardo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started from a very young age, I would say, I was the typical child who with access to the internet spent my time watching videos of many athletes and their motivating mentality and stories of feats, I was also the type of child who always looked for a philosophy in any sports story in movies or real events, but I was 8 years old when after watching a Rocky Balboa movie I said (I want this for myself) little by little in any discipline that I practiced among the main ones such as soccer, swimming, karate I was always an outstanding since the fact of motivation and discipline that I saw after movies, books, stories or great sports figures fed me in a giant way I always repeated to myself I must be the best and above all my best version, with the passage of time the more I grew up I took things to other levels and one day I said to myself I can take a big step for my country and take this to other horizons, maybe I can be something bigger not just be one more athlete, not just be one more influencer, not just be one more coach, I can be more than them and I decided create a symbol, something that represents me, something that over time many young people and adults or anyone can identify with, and I took the initials of my name, which is Eduardo Velásquez Alizo, and merged it with the sports world. At that very moment, my life project and my future business were born! The symbol that will lead the next generations to leave their comfort zone and have a purpose far beyond inside and outside the sports world, EVAFITT was born, the name and alter ego that I carry today to capture my teachings and my motto of not giving up, not lowering performance no matter how high we fall, once this was done from my country Venezuela from the city of Maracaibo, Zulia state, I began to do my feats perhaps somewhat small but quite influential in the community little by little many acquaintances and strangers joined me, once having finished certain personal and academic goals I made my leap as an immigrant from Venezuela to the UNITED STATES, once here I tried to find a way to continue with my legacy and city that I was stepping on in the USA city where I am leaving a mark among those are Austin and Dallas Texas, no matter how many additional jobs I have, in the same way I focus on my small business that little by little is growing and tying knots in my dreams, to be able to carry out my purpose in the future and leave a legacy in the society of someone exemplary without leaving aside the support of my family and first of all God, today I dedicate myself partly to construction, I am a trainer and I am a bodybuilder, even so I continue working and investing in my future project in the same way within the beautiful sport that this country gave me, the opportunity, better said, of bodybuilding once again testing my limits and showing myself and demonstrating that nothing is impossible with the power of discipline and maximum effort.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I take refuge in the word “it’s not that easy”, that phrase taught me that no matter how many obstacles there are, the price is very high but the reward is much greater than we imagine. My biggest obstacle has always been immigrating and leaving part of my family in my native country of Venezuela, but they are my driving force from a distance in the face of any challenge and problem that comes my way. One of my biggest challenges is to manage my work of building strength and physical strength on a scale between the sports and social world.

My biggest goal is to be a recognized symbol that can help you and identify with it when you feel like you can’t take it anymore. I also hope to be a top bodybuilding champion and seek respect, beyond everything, to mark an era.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have managed to stand out in any discipline or job, but what characterizes me most is my effort in the sport I do or when it comes to being a coach and knowing how to guide those people who want a physical and aesthetic change. Since I was a child, I always knew that I was not like the majority, I knew that my desire to go for everything is far beyond the rest of the majority, today I stand out in networks and my community for who I am and we will continue to grow together.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck so much. I build my own opportunities. I consider myself an opportunist, but I do believe in faith and the blessings of God. I have often thought that when you have a lot of faith in a project, the universe will do everything possible in a positive way to give it to you. In my case, step by step, I have had very good moments as well as difficult moments that I have had to overcome to get to where I am and where I want to be soon.
