Today we’d like to introduce you to Estella York.
Hi Estella, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My path has never been linear, but every chapter has shaped the way I see opportunity and community.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Global Studies, along with the Business Foundations Program: McCombs School of Business. Through UT’s exchange agreement, I spent time studying at Sciences Po in Paris. While I was there, I traveled to five countries and immersed myself in different cultures, histories, and ways of life. The friendships I formed and the perspectives I gained completely changed how I viewed the world.
After returning to finish my final year at UT, one of my professors encouraged me to apply to a Harvard summer program. That experience further expanded my curiosity and confidence. Following graduation, I spent four years working at a local municipal and government law firm as a legal assistant and office manager. In parallel, I worked with Potomac Strategy supporting a political consultant. Over time, I realized the legal path wasn’t where I wanted to build my future.
I decided to bet on myself. I flew to Los Angeles to take courses in marketing and social media management, and influencing. Then spent the next several years traveling between LA and Miami, intentionally growing my presence as a content creator. I attended influencer galas, award ceremonies, and creator-focused events, collaborated with other creators, and eventually signed with an agent. Brand partnerships followed. I later moved to Miami to live and create at FLOW Brickell, where I continued to collaborate, stay inspired, and sharpen my craft.
Years of showing up at F1 events, car shows, galas, and both local and international gatherings I invested in attending quietly built a network. I had the chance to meet owners and leaders connected to COTA, F1, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, and others long before any job opening existed. So when the Marketing Manager role at Lamborghini Austin became available, I wasn’t starting from zero. I was already a familiar face.
Today I’m proud to bring that experience to Lamborghini Austin while continuing to develop my own brand and work with an agency to grow as a professional influencer. My goal remains the same: keep learning, keep connecting, and create opportunities that feel both meaningful and aligned with who I am.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, and I’m grateful for that.
Leaving a stable path in law to start over in marketing and content creation was one of the hardest decisions I’ve made. There was uncertainty, financial pressure, and plenty of moments where I questioned whether I was making the right move. Building an audience from the ground up required consistency when results weren’t immediate, and traveling between cities while figuring things out meant constantly adapting.
There were also the quieter struggles investing my own time and money into events and relationships long before any clear return, learning how to navigate new industries without a traditional roadmap, and staying patient while the right opportunities took shape.
What I’ve learned is that the uneven parts of the journey are often where the real growth happens. Every pivot taught me something about resilience, self-trust, and the value of showing up even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. Those experiences are a big part of why I’m able to do the work I do today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work at the intersection of luxury brand marketing and lifestyle content creation. As Marketing Manager at Lamborghini Austin, I focus on building meaningful experiences and relationships with high-net-worth clients, supporting sales through thoughtful campaigns, events, and storytelling that reflect the brand’s standards. In parallel, I’m a luxury lifestyle content creator with a community of over 220K followers, where I share a mix of travel, style, automotive, and everyday elevated living.
I’m known for blending a polished personal brand with real professional experience in premium environments. What I’m most proud of is the path it took to get here moving between industries, investing in relationships over time, and earning a seat at the table at a brand like Lamborghini while continuing to grow my own platform.
What sets me apart is the combination of global perspective, hands-on luxury marketing experience, and the ability to connect with audiences both online and in person. I understand how to speak to discerning clients and communities because I’ve spent years building trust in those spaces.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is the summers I spent with my grandparents and five cousins in the country. We’d run around in the open fields, swim in the lake, and pick fresh fruit and vegetables that we’d eat that same day. I loved helping my grandparents in the garden and in the kitchen — those simple moments of being outside, working with our hands, and sharing meals together have stayed with me. There was a freedom and closeness in those days that still feels special.
