Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Lee.
Hi Jesse, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Was born in South Texas and started playing guitar around 15 years old I was in the jazz band and Mariachi in high school played jazz bass in college moved to Austin in 20 14 to start a band and have been doing it ever since.
People say I’m the best one-handed guitarist so I just rolled with it
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t say it’s been hard but it definitely hasn’t been easy perhaps I might not have had as many opportunities as other people have had but I found a way that works for me and that’s the path I’m sticking to
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I play a mean rock and roll guitar despite the fact that I was only born with one hand being in day eater is definitely something I’m proud of we’ve accomplished a lot of things over our career being recognized by the city playing All Over Texas it’s been quite a while ride
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Growing up on a rural patch of land where I really had no distractions just allowed me to focus on what was in front of me and that that time early childhood it was music and the guitar
