Hi Poet, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have been writing songs for many years. Moving to Austin was one of the best decisions I could have made. The city is so welcoming to artists of all genres. I have written some of the best songs of my career here over the last six years. The artist community very supportive and inspiring.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest hurdle that I have faced has been finding the finances to record an album to the level I would like. Musicians, producers, designers, etc. deserve their rates but raising enough to meet at the demands can be hard some times.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I think I specialize in writing lyrics that evoke emotion and telling stories that resonate with people from all walks of life.
