Check Out Ritzy Bitz’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ritzy Bitz.

Hi Ritzy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my drag career in NYC, I was fortunate to be working with some of the top entertainers in the scene. My experience stems from producing and hosting my own events for bars, clubs, restaurants, casinos, etc. I was most well known for my brunches – both of which are still running today! I’ve performed coast to coast internationally and have worked with brands like Thrillist, Steve Madden, Sinful Colors, Revlon, Dermablend, Amazon Prime & more. Now in Austin, I am the Entertainment Director at Oilcan Harry’s and host of “The Best Drag Show Ever” every Saturday night!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a Drag Entertainer, there’s never a clear road map for your journey, I always believe it’s how you handle the bumps in the road and which fork in the road you choose.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I primarily am a Drag Entertainer, I am also a singer-songwriter, model, actress and dancer. I’ve always wanted to work on my own music, and with my drag I am able to incorporate that into my weekly shows! One of my proudest accomplishments is learning how to create my own music.

I have a passion for event planning and have a real knack for producing one of a kind drag experiences. The hats I wear are endless from creative director to wig stylist to content creator to fashion designer to video editor to graphic designer, the list goes on. Drag allows me to learn each of these skills and apply them at every opportunity.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My focus and determination have been some of the most key factors.
