Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m Dr. Cindy Summers, a licensed chiropractor, and I’ve been blessed to help thousands of patients since I started practicing in 2001. My approach is rooted in natural, holistic care, combining hands-on chiropractic adjustments, shockwave therapy, powerful nutritional support and spinal decompression. I use the best in natural vitamin supplements and herbal remedies to help accelerate healing and restore the body’s normal function.
I began my journey in health care in 1994 as a licensed massage therapist, where I gained a deep understanding of the musculoskeletal system. I became a licensed chiropractor in 2000 and opened my own practice shortly after. In 2018, I moved Absolute Natural Health Center to Pflugerville, and we now serve patients across North Austin, Round Rock, Elgin and Manor areas.
In my practice, I incorporate spinal adjustments, shockwave therapy, spinal decompression and whole food nutrition to help reduce healing time and bring the body back into balance. These therapies have made a life-changing difference for so many—and I know they work because I’ve lived it myself.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My passion for natural health care comes from my own personal journey. As a child and young adult, I struggled with serious health challenges; concussions, chronic illnesses, surgeries, and a long list of misdiagnoses and medications that left me feeling hopeless. By the time I was 23, I felt like I was living in a 73-year-old body. I battled constant pain, fatigue, and a variety of chronic conditions that traditional medicine couldn’t seem to resolve.
By the grace of God, I found healing through a combination of chiropractic care, shockwave therapy, and nutrition. Those three natural therapies transformed my life, and today I’m living pain-free and full of energy. I’m also a proud mom of three, and I know how important it is to stay healthy—not just for myself, but for my family. Outside the clinic, I love dancing and serving at Celebration Church in Georgetown, Texas.
Helping people regain their health and live vibrant lives isn’t just my job. It’s a calling. I’m here to offer hope, healing, and real alternatives to drugs and surgery through natural, compassionate care.
