Hi Daniela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I think my connection with cards began long before I ever picked up a tarot deck. As a kid, I would play rummy with my mom and grandma and spend hours with a deck of playing cards — solitaire, building patterns, and watching how chance and intuition intertwined. Looking back, that’s how I first learned to listen to what the cards were saying, even if I didn’t have the language for it yet.
My great-grandmother used a pendulum to divine answers, and that thread of intuition has woven through generations of women in my family. Over time, what began as games and curiosity became a lifelong practice of connection. Tarot became the bridge that brought together everything I love — symbolism, storytelling, astrology, sound, and herbalism — into one language of remembrance and healing.
PurpleStar Tarot was born from that same spirit of play and purpose. It started with small readings for friends and evolved into a full-time practice rooted in ceremony and cosmic alignment. Today, I offer intuitive guidance, astro-genealogy sessions, sound baths, and herbal rituals throughout Central Texas and online, all designed to help people reconnect with their innate wisdom and light.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t been a straight line — more like a spiral of learning, release, and realignment. For years, this work was something I practiced quietly on the side while building a career in the tech industry. But when the wave of mass layoffs hit, I felt the universe was giving me a clear message: it was time to take my spiritual path seriously and share my gifts with the world in a different way.
That transition came with its challenges — learning how to run a business rooted in intuition while navigating uncertainty, finances, and self-doubt. But every setback revealed deeper purpose. What once felt like loss became initiation. It taught me how to trust the unseen, to build structure around spirit, and to see change not as failure, but as redirection.

PurpleStar Tarot is an intuitive guidance and ritual arts practice offering tarot readings, sound healing, cleansing ceremonies, and custom herbal blends through PurpleStar Apothecary. My work blends ancient systems — tarot, astrology, numerology, and ancestral remembrance — with poetic storytelling and sacred design.
What sets my brand apart is its multidimensional nature. Whether I’m reading cards at a festival, hosting a ceremony, or crafting tea blends for energetic balance, I approach everything as living art. My sessions are less about prediction and more about empowerment — helping people remember who they are and realign with their purpose.
