Today we’d like to introduce you to Fernande Holiday.
Hi Fernande, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story has always been shaped by different cultures, experiences, and a desire to keep growing. I was born in Côte d’Ivoire, spent an important part of my life in France, and later moved to the United States. France had a significant influence on who I became, from my appreciation for culture and design to the way I approach relationships and experiences. Today, I’m proud to bring that international perspective into my work in real estate.
Before real estate, I spent more than 25 years building my career in sales and customer service, including my time at Apple. Those years gave me a strong foundation in communication, relationship building, problem-solving, and, most importantly, understanding how to create an exceptional client experience. Eventually, I realized I wanted to take that experience and build something of my own, in a career where I could develop meaningful relationships while helping people through some of life’s most important decisions.
I earned my Texas real estate license in 2022, and in 2024, I made the decision to leave Apple and pursue real estate full time.
Since then, I’ve built my business around providing a highly personalized experience for buyers, sellers, investors, and families relocating to the Austin area. Luxury real estate has become an important part of my business, with a concierge-level approach to service at the heart of how I work. I’m proud to be a member of Keller Williams Luxury and to have consistently earned a place in my Keller Williams market center’s Million Dollar Club throughout much of 2026.
As a bilingual French and English Realtor with an international background, I’ve also developed meaningful connections with clients and professional networks from around the world. That global perspective allows me to understand that every client comes with a different story, lifestyle, and vision for what home means to them.
For me, luxury is about much more than a price point. It’s about the level of service, attention to detail, discretion, and care you provide to every client. Whether someone is purchasing a luxury home, relocating to Austin, investing, selling, or finding the right place to lease, I believe they deserve the same level of dedication and personalized service.
Looking back, I can see how every chapter of my journey has contributed to the Realtor and businesswoman I am today. I’m grateful for how far the journey has taken me, and I’m excited to continue growing my business, expanding my global network, and serving my clients at an even higher level.
Outside of real estate, I’m someone who truly enjoys the beauty of home and the experiences that happen within it. I love decorating, home staging, and finding ways to make a space feel warm, inviting, and beautiful. That creative side naturally carries into my work, especially when I’m helping sellers prepare and present their homes. I also love reading, cooking, gardening, discovering great wines, and watching soccer. My French influence is always a part of me, particularly in my appreciation for good food, wine, design, and the simple pleasure of gathering around a table with family and friends. For me, home has always been about more than where you live. It’s about how a space makes you feel and the memories you create there.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I believe the challenges have been just as important as the successes in shaping who I am today.
Starting over in different countries and cultures taught me very early how to adapt, remain resilient, and keep moving forward even when things felt unfamiliar. Each life transition came with its own challenges, but each one also expanded my perspective and strengthened my ability to connect with people from different walks of life.
Transitioning into real estate was another leap of faith. After more than 25 years in sales and customer service, including my career at Apple, I was stepping away from the security of an established career to build a business where my success depended largely on me. Real estate can be unpredictable. You have to build your reputation, earn people’s trust, create a strong network, continuously educate yourself, and stay consistent even when you don’t immediately see the results of your work.
Becoming a full-time Realtor in 2024 also meant learning how to wear many hats. I wasn’t simply selling homes. I was building a brand and a business while learning how to serve clients on every side of a transaction. For my sellers, that means understanding how to position and market a property, create the right strategy, negotiate effectively, and guide them through the entire selling process. For my buyers, it means understanding what they truly need, researching properties and communities, identifying opportunities, helping them evaluate value, negotiating on their behalf, and guiding them from the initial search all the way to closing. At the same time, I was growing my network, studying an ever-changing market, and learning how to navigate the emotional and financial weight that often comes with buying or selling a home.
There have certainly been moments of uncertainty and lessons learned along the way, but I’ve always tried to see challenges as opportunities to grow. My background in customer service taught me that you cannot control every situation, but you can control how you respond, how prepared you are, and how you make people feel throughout the process.
Today, I’m grateful that the road wasn’t perfectly smooth. It taught me resilience, patience, discipline, and the importance of staying true to the level of luxury service I want my name to represent. Every challenge has helped me become a stronger businesswoman and a better advocate for my clients.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Fernande Holiday, Realtor®?
My real estate business is built around providing a luxury, concierge-level experience to buyers, sellers, investors, and clients relocating throughout the Austin metro area. I’m a Realtor® with Keller Williams Realty Austin and a member of Keller Williams Luxury, with a strong focus on residential real estate, relocation, and helping clients confidently navigate the Austin market across a wide range of price points.
I also live in Travisso, one of Leander’s highly sought-after master-planned communities, which gives me a personal connection to the North Austin and Hill Country lifestyle I often help my clients discover. Living in the community I serve gives me firsthand insight into the neighborhoods, amenities, new construction, resale market, and lifestyle considerations that cannot always be understood from listings and market data alone. At the same time, my business extends throughout the greater Austin metro area, allowing me to help clients find the community and property that best fit their individual needs.
What truly sets my business apart is how I care for my clients. I’m very hands-on and take care of my clients from A to Z, giving 101% regardless of the size or type of transaction. I approach every relationship with positivity, making sure my clients feel heard, supported, informed, and confident that their best interests are always at the center of every decision.
For me, the relationship doesn’t end at the closing table. Many of my clients become friends, and I continue to be a resource for them long after the transaction is complete. Whether they need a recommendation, have a real estate question, or simply want to stay connected, I want them to know they can always reach out to me.
I’m also bilingual in French and English, and having lived in Côte d’Ivoire, France, and the United States, I understand firsthand what it means to establish a home in a new place. That personal experience has been especially valuable when working with relocating and international clients and has helped me build relationships and professional connections that extend beyond Texas and the United States.
Luxury is an important part of my brand, but I don’t believe luxury should be limited to a particular price point. To me, luxury is a standard of service. Whether someone is purchasing their first home, leasing, relocating to Austin, investing, leasing, selling a property, or buying a multimillion-dollar luxury home, my commitment to the client remains the same. It means being responsive, attentive, knowledgeable, discreet, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile. I want every client to feel that they have someone genuinely advocating for them from our first conversation through closing and beyond.
I’m proud to be a member of Keller Williams Luxury and to have consistently earned a place in my Keller Williams market center’s Million Dollar Club throughout much of 2026. But what I’m most proud of is building a business based on relationships, trust, referrals, and a reputation for taking care of people. My goal is for every client, regardless of price point, to receive an experience that feels personal, elevated, and exceptional.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I believe the best mentorship and networking relationships start with being intentional and genuine. My advice is to surround yourself with people who are where you aspire to be, but don’t approach every relationship by immediately asking, “What can this person do for me?” Be curious, listen, learn, and think about what you can bring to the relationship as well.
What has worked well for me is putting myself in rooms where I can learn and grow, whether through Keller Williams, the luxury real estate community, local Austin networking opportunities, community events, or relationships I’ve developed internationally. I’m naturally a people person, so I enjoy connecting with others, learning about their stories, and staying in touch. Some of the most valuable relationships in my career have developed organically from simply being consistent and genuinely interested in people.
I also believe you can have more than one mentor. Different people can teach you different things, whether it’s real estate, business, leadership, marketing, negotiation, or personal growth. I’ve learned to pay attention to people whose values and work ethic I respect, ask questions, and then actually apply what I learn.
Networking, to me, isn’t about collecting contacts or business cards. It’s about building real relationships. I try to lead with positivity, support others when I can, celebrate their successes, and stay connected even when there isn’t an immediate business opportunity. When you build relationships that way, your network becomes a community, and opportunities and referrals often follow naturally.
