Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi! I’m Melina Almonte, a fashion designer originally from the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴. I opened my first atelier in 2007, where I began creating pieces that reflect my passion for craftsmanship and design. In 2016, I moved to the United States 🇺🇸 with my family, and a few years later—during 2020—I decided to return to what I love most: creating.

I launched my online store with a focus on handmade jewelry, and later introduced embroidered clothing, combining both worlds in a unique way. The journey hasn’t been easy—I had to learn everything from building a website to SEO and branding—but I never gave up. After taking multiple courses and lots of trial and error, I’m proud to say that I’ve made over 4,000 sales, and my handmade pieces have reached customers in countries like Australia, Switzerland, Canada, the Czech Republic, and more 🌍.

Each creation is made with love, care, and the hope that it brings a little beauty and meaning to someone’s day.

I launched my online store with a focus on handmade jewelry, and later introduced embroidered clothing, I also make personalized orders, such as embroidery on a garment that you want customized, jewelry or joseria with an initial or message.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I’m proud to say that I’ve made over 4,000 sales, and my handmade pieces have reached customers in countries like Australia, Switzerland, Canada, the Czech Republic, and more 🌍.and to be able to enhance the outfits of many women with my pieces
