Conversations with Ayesha Ophelia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ayesha Ophelia.

Hi Ayesha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
So often, our personal story creates the foundation for us to serve. My story really got going when my Mom passed away at the very young age of 61 from complications of heart surgery. I was her primary caregiver and walked with her through each phase of releasing life. At that time, I began to really understand my purpose is linked to helping people feel their hearts and transform their lives into being creatively fully expressed. I know without the major push I felt after my Mom passed, I may be working a job I didn’t enjoy or living a life that was not authentically mine. Having gone through the alchemical process of turning pain into power, I understood the help that women need at these transitions. I began sharing my heart and mission under the name The Girlfriend Manifesto and over the last seven years the message has grown exponentially and now I work with mainly women who are healing or looking to be creatively expressed online, in their lives and sensuality, and in their passion or workplace.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
‘A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.’ In short no, the road has not been smooth but it has created a certain consistency within my intuition, heart, and the gifts I have to offer to the world. My biggest personal transformations have happened after divorce, burying my mother, changing jobs, and navigating lives hurts and betrayals. It is not so much what happened to us as it is what we make of it. That is my work on earth to help people navigate the sacred and the mundane while staying connected to their soul essence.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I do things differently is my business card tagline. Along with these words that I feel accurately describe myself and what it is I do: spiritual provocateur, conceptual creative, brand magician, committed storyteller, d.i.y. designer, transformational artist, and complicated woman.

When I work with clients in any realm be it creative or healing/wellness, I intuitively gather spiritual tools and somatic practices to uncover the deeper truths trying to emerge. I have a special knack for creating numinous spaces, events, and places of healing or transformation for my clients.

I am most proud of the collection of souls I have worked with or touched all around the world. The internet has made the world a small town and I see that all the time with how many people my messages reach all around the globe.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Go where your mentor would go. If you want to write a book frequent bookstores or go to gatherings for writers. Start to speak about your desires openly and don’t be afraid to ask for what it is you are looking for.
