Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Lenard.
Hi Brooke, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our story starts in 2013. I was working in property management in Austin Tx doing a townhome complex renovation and conversion to sales units. My Husband Shane was working in the glass industry as a glazier. During our sales the windows kept getting flagged by the inspector for seal failure (fogged glass). We continued to have to delay sales to wait for the glass companies to come bid and replace the glass that was listed in the inspection reports. It was delaying our closings, and I needed to find a way to get our units sold faster and avoid the costly delays due to the glass replacements. So, with much excitement and anticipation in August of 2013 Shane’s Panes was created. I continued to work in the property management industry for 20 years. During that time Shane’s Panes was picking up work all over and not just with my management company and real-estate endeavors. Soon Shane was providing window repairs and glass needs to the Georgetown area, Sun city, our town of Lago Vista, Point Venture, Cedar Park and it just continued to grow in a word-of-mouth kind of way as we did not have a social media or website. In 2021 we took a big leap of Faith, and I resigned from property management to pursue Shane’s Panes as our main income source for our family. Together we moved toward our goal for our little family to be able to provide a living and future for us and our children. We created our website Shanespanestx.com and we slowly started to pursue our dream. In Sept of 2023 we took another leap of faith and moved the business from our house in Lago Vista to our Shop in Georgetown Tx and created Shane’s Panes Glass, LLC. Since then, we have been blessed to continue to grow in our industry and provide window repairs and glass replacements to Georgetown, Round Rock, Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lago Vista and all surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on our quality work, reasonable rates, honest and reliable services. We are still the small local company that used to be a staff of 2 and has grown to a staff of 6. We are still the small guys in a world of big companies and services trying to make it. We pride ourselves on hands on work whether its residential, commercial, emergencies, warranty services or just a simple window repair.
We are married and collectively we have 4 children ranging from 32-16 years old, with 3 grandchildren and one on the way.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it certainly has not been a smooth road at all! The reality of being a small business owner hit hard! It has its perks, but the struggle is definitely real. Shane’s Panes Glass is literally made up of blood sweat and tears. We have liquidated savings, sacrificed our free time, and given everything to our dream. We started with a small dream and goal, of one guy and one truck. We continue to navigate through all the trials and tribulations while juggling life as a small business owner. As difficult as it is, it’s our dream for our family and we cannot stop pursing our goals. The professional relationships that have been made through business keep us grounded and strong to our roots. We would not be here without those relationships, our vendors, fellow business owners, employees and lastly but not least, our customers that have seen us through. We are thankful for all the hard times and struggles without those we cannot grow.

We offer affordable and reliable window repairs and glass replacements. There has to be the affordable service for people out there. We have found everyone wants you to replace your windows. Customers are being swayed into purchasing all new windows and frames for obscene amounts of money. When in some cases it’s just a simple repair that needs to be done. We hear customers stories all the time. Other companies tell customers there are no other options, that have to get replaced and offer a crazy cost and financing rates so you’re paying for windows for the next 20 years??
Windows can be repaired; everything does not have to be replaced! When your tire goes flat, do you buy a new car? So why if the glass in your window is fogged would you buy new windows? Why not just replace the glass that is fogged? “Save your frames and replace your panes” for a fraction of the cost. You can even upgrade to an energy efficient product by replacing your double paned glass or even changing single pane to energy efficient double paned glass. Let’s not forget shower glass, cabinet glass, tables, and glass railings. We can also fix windows that don’t open or close properly to work just like new. We offer affordable glass services and repair options at a fraction of the cost. We fix windows that are broken, seal failure, fogged, cracked and perform upgrades to affordable energy efficient options for this Texas heat.
We are a small family owned and operated. Shane will be the one that arrives for your measurements, when you call the office, you talk to Brooke. We are onsite and available to all of our customers. We do not outsource phone services or utilize AI to handle our customer relations. Are we perfect NO far from it, I miss calls and forget to return them immediately like everyone else. But you are dealing with a person that is ready to deal with your concerns with the upmost concern and respect. Your concerns are our concerns, and, in most cases, these are our customer’s home. It doesn’t matter if it is a $100.00 repair or a $20,000.00 repair it is handled the same. We understand how important their homes and or businesses are and will treat each concern/repair with the upmost urgency and importance.

What do I like least about Georgetown, I would have to say 2 things the USPS mail service and the traffic on William’s drive.
What do I love about this city? The people! Georgetown has been so good to us, we have been working in this area since we started back in 2013. The hometown hospitality is by far the best. The people are kind and down to earth, it’s a true southern charm of Texas. Shane’s Panes Glass is so proud to call Georgetown home. The down-home take care of your neighbor mentality is so strong in Georgetown, the people can make the difference! Georgetown is proof of that.
