Hi Christopher, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Simply Blessed Creations Elegant Event Planning, LLC was formed on October 12, 2012. SBCEEP very first event was October 15, 2012 for the 1 year memorial service of God Daughter Ivyana Shepherd. Simply Blessed was also blessed to help coordinate the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Shawn Haney the same year in December.
Believing in the power of prayer Chris appointed Rev. Annise Payne to be the Spiritual Advisor of SBCEEP in 2018. The business started to get recognition in the community Chris was able to hire his first crew to help with the weddings and banquets. Jennifer Contreras, Raven , Yvonne Gutierrez where the first Elegant Creators of SBCEEP. This year Yvonne Gutierrez still holds her title as Elegant Creator alongside with Yvonne Rose & Britney Griggs-Williams.
Simply Blessed formed the title LLC in 2022 with the help of fellow Business owner Marcus Banks of Big Banks Customs, Temple, Texas. In 2025 Simply Blessed moved from a LLC to a 5013C company with help from Dr. Sumiko Hamilton, Houston, Texas.
Simply Blessed has been blessed to work and collaboration with some great Business owners: Gigi’s Flower Hut, TPI Travel Agency, Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Ladies First Creations Event Planning, Anointed Accessories by Tif, Big Banks Custom, NPI Event Planning, Latia’s Wangz and Thangz, Freeze the Moment Photography, Madkins Photography, TJ THA DJ, Simply Jadior, Tom’s Chicken & More, Roundtable Catering, and DW Finest Catering Etc.
Over the years Simply Blessed Creations Has Been Blessed To Serve Our Central Texas Community And Surrounding Areas. 2025 marks 13 Years of ELEANCE!!!
God has truly blessed this organization to be a blessing in the community. Simply Blessed has been won Event Planner of the Year for 2022 & 2023!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being in business has not always been a smooth road for me or the Elegant Creator (Worker) Sometimes we have to serve the families of our loved ones and others. Hard to keep a smiling face when one of our families members is gone and we have been instructed to take care of the decor, funeral programs etc. We as a company band together to show our client weather it be family or just recommended people we care and elegance is the key!

Always Write The Vision Make It Plaine Pray and seek God’s Counsel. Event Planning can be a hard job but if it is in you heart you can do it. listen to your clients they have a great influence over others and always document your work add to Social media do free 30 min tutorials if you learn something that would be beneficial to someone else. Collab with other there is enough money for everyone where you are weak your partners can make you strong.
