I discovered the World of Sound on the piano with six years old, a TRUE great gift in my Life !
Also, I come a long way , being born and raised in Europe, Switzerland with Family connections in France and Austria , living , studying ,working, performing ,writing ,recording and teaching Music in Switzerland and Munich, Germany, before I come to Austin , Texas, U.S.A. in 2008 together with Red Young. Luckily , I was an AFS (AmericanFieldService) Student Exchange Year with 18Years old in Annapolis , Maryland, living with the wonderful Family Sears. We still connect regularly , awesome !
I admit, Life has had it’s up and downs, I DO know The Blues to be clear. But also, it is important to me to living with an attitude of gratitude and Happyness !
My beloved Swiss Family is very musical ,although at times , could be critical, to me, a sign of Love !
BIG heartfelt Thanks especially to my great Papa and my dear Sister Theresa , Pastor in Switzerland. Both understood that MUSIC is my BIG passion and Love, Happyness and “way of living” , giving and growing , learning and sharing ! I count my Blessings .
Professionally:
As a Swiss American Citizen I am trying to combining my classical European piano and vocal Music background with the American great beauty and freedom to expressing Yourself ! and the improvisation that Jazz offers so generously , including other Music styles .
I always loved to studying ,performing , recording and writing Music, teaching and especially discovering the mistery of the singing Voice and piano .

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I admit, I am too serious at times, typical Swiss …LOL
The usual struggels everyone knows,being a Creative, Musician ,Artist.
It takes a lot of focus, energy , creativity and patience ! AndTeam work to creating something special !
It takes time and smart money planing and preparing to creating something NEW as everyone knows who dares to trie, right ?
But at the end, it is all worth it !!
keep doing what you love !!

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
* I love Austin for it’s MANY live Music Venues ! as in “Austin , the live Music capital of the World”
+I love the friendliness and charming ways of many people here in Austin
+ I love the diversity of different cultures , the english and spanish Language and Slangs
+I’m loving the spontaneous,positive comments or a smile from strangers that are no strangers anymore once connecting and communicating
+I love the huge and beautiful Texan sky !
+I love the warm and sunny winters , the high air humidity !
It is great for the voice , skin and hair and for being in a good and happy mood !
Dislike : It sure is a weird time :
-I dislike the power games of the powerful guys. It is quite disappointing and the “we don’t approve of you” attitude can be discouraging . AUSTIN VOCAL STUDIO is here to supporting successfully your music and creative talents and projects and helping to overcoming the obstacles on the way to being and becoming your best!
