Hi Jalisa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello my name is jalisa also known as sunshine, I think it’s important to share my story. Because it’s a prime example of what perseverance represent. I launched my business off of an opportunity that was given to me about six years ago, when I applied for a bartending opportunity. Of course. Walking into this establishment in Houston, I was immediately counted out. Based upon how I looked, however, I asked the owner just to give me a chance to show her my ability on mixing and crafting cocktails and how they can and add to the experience. From there, I was able to create custom cocktails and drink menus for the business as well as helping establish marketing. However, on days I was not in the bar, I was selling my recipes out of Mason jars at the park. No matter how the weather rain sleet or snow, I was there day in and Day Out. From there, I move to Austin and took a chance in applying for a mobile bartender position in which I was gifted. The opportunity to be the operations manager, this allowed me to set foot on properties I’d never thought I would see in a million years. And to also connect and network with amazing people.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say for me, the biggest obstacle is that I definitely want something consistent to where I can showcase my abilities to bring people together and curate successful events

So I specialize in masking, which is the ability to create cocktails where you cannot taste the alcohol, also, combining them with multiple flavors to create a unique experience
How do you define success?
Identifying success for me, as being able to impact someone with our engagement.And them also experiencing what services i’m able to provide underneath my brand. For me, a win is a win.No matter how big or small
