Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliet Maggio.
Hi Juliet, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up, I always wanted to try everything, never just one career or one way of life. Television let me do exactly that: 18 years jumping between Michelin-star kitchens, surgical suites, and FBI interrogation rooms, all in the name of telling someone else’s story well. Along the way I met my husband Max, also a producer, and we built a life and partnership both on set and at home.
When the pandemic and strikes hit our industry hard, we watched talented people we admired struggle to hold on. As our family grew, we wanted more control over our future without giving up the work we loved, so we started All the Reg Productions, named after our dog, Reggie.
Since then, we’ve built a business around that same range I always craved: branded content, corporate video, live events, documentary storytelling, all with the same production discipline whether it’s a stadium shoot for a national brand or a single-day interview series. What started as a way to protect our own stability has become something we’re genuinely excited to do every day!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Production has been shrinking for years, fewer shows greenlit, tighter budgets, more competition for the work that does exist. Add two young kids into the mix, and the unpredictability of freelance production life gets a lot harder to build a family around.
What’s kept us moving is staying adaptable. We’ve learned that the skills we built in TV, creativity, leadership, project management, translate into far more places than we ever expected, and that’s opened doors we wouldn’t have found if we’d stayed rigid about what “the work” had to look like. Every challenge has pushed us to get more resourceful, not less ambitious.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At All the Reg, we specialize in making complicated productions look effortless: branded content, corporate video, live events, documentary-style storytelling, all handled with the same rigor whether we’re producing a stadium ad for a national brand or a single day of interviews for a small business.
What we’re known for is range without ever cutting corners: we can move from a high-production commercial shoot to an intimate documentary interview and bring the same level of care to both. What sets us apart is that we’ve done this work at the highest levels of the industry so our clients get that same caliber of production, just without the network-sized price tag or timeline.
What I’m most proud of isn’t any single project, it’s the relationships. Clients come back, and they send us their friends. That trust, built one project at a time, is the thing I’d put up against any award.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite memories is writing and performing full plays in my living room, dragging my little brother into every role whether he wanted one or not. They were mostly modeled after Days of Our Lives, so lots of drama, betrayal, and dramatic reveals from a nine-year-old’s imagination. In hindsight, I guess I’ve been producing since long before I knew that was the job.
