Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Mickler.
Hi Laura, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I move to Austin right after my graduation from Texas A&M University. I came here to work within technology sales at Oracle! My husband joined me in Austin after we got married in 2020. During our time here, we have found our church home, survived the pandemic, made a multitude of new friends, and accelerated in our careers! In hopes of becoming homeowners in 2021, we moved South to Kyle where we found our dream home. It was truly a miracle because of the competitive nature of this housing market!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The Lord has blessed us immensely during our time here so far. Although we recently suffered the loss of a family member due to covid, He has continued to provide us with so much peace during this mourning season.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have really enjoyed my time working within technology sales at Oracle. This summer will be my three years anniversary! My favorite part about Oracle is the many incredible people I have been able to meet. I am so grateful for the multitude of opportunities the company has provided for me.
