Hi Maya, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Lumina was born from loss—and transformation.
While traveling, I had all my most sentimental jewelry stolen, including my wedding and engagement rings. It left a deep void. I didn’t feel drawn to replace them with store-bought pieces that lacked the emotional meaning my originals held. For a while, I wore nothing.
Then I discovered orgonites—beautiful creations infused with spiritual energy and sacred geometry. I was immediately captivated. At first, I kept them as pyramids by my bed, but I felt a strong desire to carry that energy with me throughout the day. Since I had no jewelry left, there was space—literally and emotionally—for something new.
I began experimenting, creating my own orgonite pendants. What started as a form of personal healing became a passion. Piece by piece, Lumina was born—jewelry that holds energy, intention, and beauty. Not just something to wear, but something to feel.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not smooth—but deeply meaningful.
Creating Lumina has been a journey of healing, trial, and trust. At first, I had no idea how to work with resin or crystals—I was just experimenting late at night while my kids slept. There were many failures. Pieces broke. Materials didn’t bond. I questioned whether anyone would see the value in something so personal and spiritual.
Beyond the technical side, there was also the vulnerability of sharing my story—of creating something so close to my heart and putting it out into the world. That took courage.
But every challenge taught me something. Each obstacle pushed me to grow—creatively, emotionally, and spiritually. And that’s part of the magic behind every piece of Lumina.

At Lumina, I create handmade orgonite jewelry designed for energy balancing and spiritual alignment. I work with natural crystals, sacred geometry, and resin to craft wearable pieces that don’t just look beautiful—they feel powerful.
Each piece is infused with intention and created to help clear stagnant energy, support emotional healing, and bring balance to the body and mind. I specialize in combining the art of energetic design with aesthetic beauty—so you’re not only wearing something unique, but something that supports your inner well-being.
What sets Lumina apart is the intention behind it. This isn’t mass-produced jewelry—it’s energetically alive. I tune into intuition and allow each piece to take form from a place of connection.
I’m most proud when someone tells me a pendant brought them peace or helped them feel more grounded and centered. That’s when I know Lumina is doing what it was meant to do—bringing light to the ones who wear it.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
To me, risk is part of living a soul-led life. It means listening to your inner voice even when it doesn’t make logical sense—especially when it doesn’t.
Starting Lumina was a risk. I didn’t come from a jewelry or business background. I was a homeschooling mom creating in the quiet hours, investing time and love into something that had no guaranteed outcome. I didn’t know if anyone would connect with it, or if I’d just end up with a table full of crystals and resin.
But I’ve learned that the real risk is ignoring that inner calling. I’d rather follow my intuition and fail than stay safe and feel disconnected from myself.
Every piece I make is a reminder of that—of trusting the unseen, the energetic, the heart’s whispers. That’s where the magic lives.
