Today we’d like to introduce you to Richie Jaynes.
Hi Richie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My path here wasn’t a straight line. I played college football on scholarship, then found my way into the fitness business — I bought a Dallas training center at 23 and grew it into a 12,000-square-foot facility with 3,000+ members. That world led me into supplements, where I bui;t a supplement distribution of ver 19k distributors generating over $10 mil a year while helping drive the company toward a billion dollars in sales, then went on to co-found 360RX a sports supplement company. Along the way I also built a real estate business and worked in oil and gas — but health and wellness kept pulling me back.
I started LYFE RX because I saw how much friction there was in accessing legitimate hormone and metabolic health treatment — GLP-1s, peptide therapies, TRT — through traditional channels. People were either priced out, buried in gatekeeping, or sold on hype instead of real science. I wanted to build something direct-to-consumer that was transparent and built on authenticity with real people with real results that paired real compounding pharmacy partnerships with a simple, honest patient experience, not another wellness brand riding a trend.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The early days were scrappy — building partnerships, figuring out payment processing in a high-risk category, learning the regulatory landscape the hard way in places. We’ve grown from roughly $611K in gross revenue in 2024 to accelerating growth this year, and I’ve built out a custom telehealth platform to support patients end-to-end. Every business I’ve built circles back to the same idea: help people feel and perform better, and don’t overcomplicate it. LYFE RX is just the latest — and, I think, the most meaningful — chapter of that.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At LYFE RX, I run a direct-to-consumer telehealth company built around GLP-1 medications, peptide therapies, and hormone optimization (TRT and beyond). We specialize in making advanced metabolic and hormone health accessible — real compounded prescriptions, real providers, without the gatekeeping people usually run into with traditional healthcare.
What we’re known for is building the infrastructure most companies our size skip: we’ve developed our own custom telehealth platform from the ground up, with dedicated portals for admin, providers, and patients, so the entire experience — intake, consult, prescription, fulfillment — runs as one seamless system instead of a patchwork of disconnected tools.
What sets us apart, though, is transparency. This industry is flooded with paid influencers pushing products they’ve never used and don’t believe in — it’s all hype, no substance. We do the opposite. We work with real people who’ve actually gotten real results and genuinely stand behind what we do, not people who were bought for a post. What I’m most proud of is that trust — patients know what they’re getting from us is honest, and that shows in how fast we’ve grown, nearly doubling revenue year over year. At the end of the day, LYFE RX isn’t a marketing company that happens to sell health products; it’s a health company built by someone who’s spent 30+ years in fitness, supplements, and wellness, and who still believes the fundamentals — help people feel better, perform better, live better — never go out of style.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think we’re at an inflection point right now. The last few years were a gold rush — compounding filled a real gap while brand-name GLP-1s were scarce and overpriced, and telehealth made access easy for the first time. That phase is ending. The FDA has moved hard on enforcement, the shortages that justified mass compounding are officially resolved, and manufacturers like Novo and Lilly are pushing their own direct-to-consumer pricing to cut compounding out entirely. So the next 5-10 years look like consolidation: a lot of the “no-frills” players who leaned on hype and loose compliance won’t survive it, and the companies left standing will be the ones who built real clinical infrastructure — not just a prescription pipeline.
Sourcing is going to matter more than ever, too. This space has attracted a flood of fraudsters — people who started an online storefront overnight with zero pharmacy relationships, zero oversight, and no idea what they’re actually shipping to patients. That’s dangerous. As scrutiny increases, patients are going to have to get a lot smarter about who they trust with their health, and the companies that survive will be the ones working exclusively with licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies and real safety oversight, not whoever pops up cheapest on the internet. That’s the whole reason we built LYFE RX on certified telehealth infrastructure and vetted pharmacy partners from day one — it’s not optional anymore, it’s the baseline.
The bigger shift, though, is what happens after the prescription. Right now most patients quit within a year or two, because the industry has been built around getting the sale, not keeping people healthy. I think the next decade of this space is about retention and outcomes — real follow-up care, managing side effects, combining medication with lifestyle support — not just handing someone a vial. Peptides and hormone optimization are heading the same direction: less “trend chasing,” more personalized, data-backed protocols. The companies that treat this like real medicine, not a subscription box, are the ones that’ll still be here in ten years.
