Hi Brooke, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I graduated from nursing school in Mississippi, and soon after, I found myself working as an ICU travel nurse — a path that eventually led me to Los Angeles. That experience was fast-paced, intense, and deeply formative. But the real turning point came when I transitioned from the ICU to the operating room of a top plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. It was there, in 2007, that I was introduced to the world of aesthetic injections. I was instantly captivated — not just by the science, but by the artistry. Learning how to shape a face through light, shadows, and structure felt like discovering a sacred craft.
In 2013, Saving Face was born — not in a flashy storefront, but in a humble one-bedroom carriage house. It started with a dream, a treatment table, and a deep desire to help people feel like the most radiant version of themselves. Since then, we’ve grown to three locations and a team of 25 amazing women — and one incredible man, my husband Jason, who gracefully handles all things operations. Together, we’ve nurtured something really special.
In 2023, Saving Face was honored as Top Aesthetic Practice — a recognition that means the world to us, not for the title, but for what it represents: trust, heart, and a standard of excellence rooted in love. Today, Saving Face continues to grow as one of Austin’s most sought-after wellness destinations.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Challenges are always invitations for growth. I’ve come to embrace them not as roadblocks, but as sacred teachers that shape who I am — as a leader, a practitioner, and a human.
One of the most humbling lessons has been learning how to do business in new ways — especially as the industry evolves. Staying open, curious, and coachable has been key. Sometimes, growth requires hard decisions, like knowing when it’s time to let someone go. Those moments can be incredibly emotional, but I’ve learned they can be handled with both love and grace. You can honor someone’s journey and still move forward in integrity.
Another challenge has been navigating the reality of a saturated market. Medical aesthetics is booming, and it can be easy to fall into fear or scarcity. But I choose a different path. I believe that there’s room for everyone at the table — especially when you’re leading with authenticity. Instead of competing, we collaborate with like-minded businesses. We share, support, and uplift — because when one of us rises, we all rise.
This mindset has created a ripple effect in our practice and our community. We’re not afraid of standing out — we’re committed to standing in truth.
