With over two decades of experience as a nurse and now serving as a Holistic Health Practitioner, I founded Purefyt CC (Community Care) because healing shouldn’t feel like a privilege; it should feel like coming home. After witnessing too many people and my own tragedies being overlooked in the spaces meant to serve us, I knew it was time to reimagine what wellness should be. I wasn’t interested in quick fixes or surface solutions. I was called to create care that honors the whole story: body, mind, spirit, and culture.
Purefyt is where purpose meets practice. Drawing from a belief in holistic healing and a respect for innovation, I built this company to restore trust in care for those who’ve been unheard, unseen, or underserved for far too long. Here, wellness is personalized, equity is a guiding principle, and community is our compass.
This work is more than a business to me; it’s a sacred offering. A reflection of faith, experience, and an unwavering belief that everyone deserves to be well, not just treated.
I’m not here to chase a legacy or build an empire. What I’m building is something different, something more meaningful. Imagine a place, like an airport, but for your health. Not at all, but every bump has shaped the soul of Purefyt CC
Transitioning from over 20 years in nursing to becoming a Holistic Health Practitioner wasn’t just a career shift; it was a spiritual and emotional transformation. I had to learn, unlearn, and relearn parts of a system that often treats symptoms but overlooks the person. That meant facing skepticism, navigating unfamiliar business terrain, and learning to trust my intuition as much as my training.
Building Purefyt CC (Community Care) came with its own set of challenges, from securing resources to crafting messaging that truly reflects the heart of what we offer. There were moments of doubt, especially when trying to balance innovation with emotional resonance. But each struggle reminded me why I started: to create a space where healing is sacred, and care is crafted with soul.
I’ve learned that smooth roads rarely lead to meaningful destinations. The detours, delays, and discomforts have deepened my purpose and made Purefyt stronger, more compassionate, and more aligned with the people it’s meant to serve.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I grew up in a family that shaped me in ways I carry with me to this day. With my parents’ (Harry J. Williams Sr. and Marion Williams, Baton Rouge, La) examples of hard work, faith, resilience, and compassion, and the daily lessons of growing up alongside my siblings. I found my place as the one who loved to dream, imagine, and encourage. I was endlessly curious, always creating, always noticing when someone needed a little extra care.
I was curious about everything, always asking questions and exploring new ideas. I loved creating, whether it was through words, visuals, or simply helping others find joy in the ordinary. My siblings and I had different personalities, but together we taught each other patience, perspective, and how to collaborate, lessons I still carry with me.
Those childhood roots became the seeds of who I am today. What keeps me grounded and thriving now is the unwavering support of my husband, Reginald (Reggie) Smith of 15 years. His faith and belief in me have given me the courage to keep building spaces where people can RELAX, REFUEL, REALIGN, RESTORE, and REPOSITION before stepping into their next destination.
Together, my past and my present remind me: I was created to help others travel well, not just to their goals, but in the way they arrive.
