Hi Kirtan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Kirtan Nagavarapu, I spent a substancial part of my college career living in Japan perusing my goals as a Badminton player, during this time I was exposed to many different industries as I traveled, although I knew I was interested in technology the industry that struck my heart the most was clean energy. The idea of powering humanity without hurting the only planet we have was very appealing. After I came back to Austin Texas, I started working at Yotta energy where I was first introduced to the concept of non traditional grid optional solutions, namely the first iteration of the REV product. As I played a crucial role with REV I fell in love with the idea and product and with the blessing and endorsement of Yotta and the then CEO Omeed Badkoobeh I started the company Revco Energy LLC to give REV a place to call home. Now Revco is raising capital with hopes to expand out lease fleet and position ourselves as leaders in the grid optional clean energy space.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been many challenges many of them small but a few big hurdles as well. Being a young founder I am constantly proving myself to established investors and customers to show them that Revco is more than my company but my passion. It has also been a challenge to manage the demand for Rev in a way that is sustainable for growth and foster a healthy company environment, but this was high on our goals as a company and I feel we are improving and establishing ourselves as a reliable and relevant player in the grid optional portable power space.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
“My clean energy journey began with an ambitious, albeit somewhat naive, goal: to completely replace traditional energy sources. However, as I delved deeper into the complexities of the energy industry, I realized that a more nuanced approach was necessary.
True impact comes from strategically integrating clean energy solutions with existing infrastructure. This allows for a gradual yet impactful transition, maximizing efficiency and minimizing disruption.
While the environmental benefits of clean energy are undeniable and often a primary motivator, I’ve come to appreciate its advantages across a much wider spectrum. Clean energy often outperforms traditional power sources in scenarios where:
Accessibility is limited: Remote locations, disaster relief efforts, and temporary installations benefit greatly from the portability and rapid deployment of clean energy solutions.
Noise pollution is a concern: Clean energy systems operate silently, making them ideal for residential areas, events, and eco-sensitive environments.
