Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Green.
Hi Leslie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m Leslie Green—a personal trainer, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Life Well Worth It.
I grew up in Austin, Texas, and sports were always a big part of my life. I started as a gymnast before finding volleyball, which quickly became everything to me. It eventually took me to Trinity University in San Antonio. Looking back, what I loved most wasn’t winning—it was working toward something hard alongside other people.
After college, I moved to New York City and started working in sports and fitness media. That turned into a career in brand and social marketing across sports, wellness, tech, and consumer brands. I loved the creative side of the work, but fitness was always in the back of my mind. Coaching was something I thought about often, but never really saw as a realistic path.
That changed in 2023.
I left my corporate job to start my own marketing business, Stage Mom Social, and around the same time I joined F45 in Austin. I walked in looking for a workout, but it ended up changing the direction of my life. It brought back the athlete in me and reminded me how much I loved helping people discover what they’re capable of.
Around then, I also started changing my relationship with health. I stopped drinking, committed to strength training, and focused on building habits I could actually sustain. Somewhere along the way, I realized confidence isn’t something you find—it’s something you build by keeping promises to yourself. After coaching myself through that transformation, I knew I wanted to help other people do the same.
Today, I’m especially passionate about helping women get stronger and more confident because I know firsthand how much fitness can change your life. Strength training gave me far more than physical results—it taught me to trust myself. Every workout became another promise I kept to myself, and that confidence started showing up everywhere else too. I think so many women have spent years trying to make themselves smaller. I want to help them discover what it feels like to become stronger, take up space, and realize they’re capable of far more than they thought. Along the way, I earned my ACE Group Fitness certification, became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and now coach strength, conditioning, and HYROX.
In 2025, my husband and co-founder, Justin, and I spent six months traveling the world. Our goal was simple: to experience everything while proving to ourselves that you can prioritize your health without putting life on hold. We trained wherever we were, meal prepped, worked through an injury, and raced our first HYROX together.
The biggest surprise wasn’t the places we visited—it was what we were missing. Living on the road made us realize how important community is to a healthy life. We met incredible people everywhere we went, but we missed having a group of people to consistently challenge ourselves, celebrate with, and grow alongside. That’s what inspired us to take our travel Substack, Life Well Worth It, offline and into real life.
What started as a place to document experiences that were “worth it” has grown into a company that creates fitness adventures for people who want to challenge themselves, see the world, and find their people.
This spring, we hosted our first retreat in Málaga, Spain. Our 11-person team arrived as strangers and spent the week racing HYROX, sharing meals, exploring the Costa del Sol, and cheering each other on. Watching them leave as teammates and friends confirmed we were building exactly what we’d hoped for. Our next retreat is in Nice, France, this fall, and we’re excited to do it all over again.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that some of the best parts of life happen when you say yes to something that feels just a little bigger than you think you’re ready for. That’s what fitness gave me, that’s what travel gave me, and now it’s what I hope Life Well Worth It gives other people.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not. Most of the biggest challenges have come from choosing a path that doesn’t have a clear roadmap.
When Justin and I decided to spend six months traveling the world, we rented out our home on Airbnb, packed everything into a backpack, and figured things out as we went. Living on the road sounds glamorous, but there were plenty of moments where we were navigating language barriers, changing plans, maintaining friendships across time zones, and wondering if we were making the right decision.
Starting Life Well Worth It has been the same way. It’s one thing to have an idea that excites you, and another to trust that other people will see the vision, too. Before our first retreat in Málaga, we came very close to canceling it because we weren’t sure we’d fill the spots. It would have been easy to wait until everything felt more certain, but we decided to move forward anyway.
Take the chance before you feel completely ready. Discomfort is the only way to grow.
We’ve been impressed with Life Well Worth It, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Life Well Worth It is all about building a life filled with health, adventure, meaningful experiences, and extraordinary people.
We create racecations for adventurous athletes, bringing together destination races like HYROX with local culture, incredible food, and a community of people who love doing hard things together.
If you’re willing to say yes to a challenge, you’re exactly who we’re building for. Our hope is that you leave every trip believing you’re capable of more than you thought when you arrived—and with friends who inspire you to keep saying yes to the next adventure.
I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and health coach who helps people build stronger bodies so they can live bigger lives. My coaching is rooted in the fundamentals—strength training, nutrition, movement, recovery, and sustainable habits—but the goal has always been much bigger than fitness. I want my clients to feel confident enough to say yes to adventures, take on new challenges, and build a life they’re excited to wake up to.
I am most proud of us launching our first international race retreat in Málaga, Spain, and planning our next in Nice, France this Fall. I want your reader to know that we are already planning out our 2027 calendar and we want them to join us!
