Hi Mario, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been a blend of leadership, mentorship, and transformation. It began in the fast-paced world of retail, where I started as a General Manager at Finish Line. Over time, I grew into roles as a Manager Trainer and Market Leader, honing my skills in building teams and empowering individuals to reach their potential.
But my heart was always drawn to something more. That calling led me to become a Youth Pastor, and eventually a Campus Pastor, where I served for 14 incredible years. Those years shaped my belief that everyone is created for more than they often realize, and I committed my life to helping others uncover and achieve their “more.”
In launching Made4More, everything I’ve experienced and learned has come together. Now, I partner with individuals, teams, and organizations to help them thrive. Whether it’s leadership coaching, team development, or organizational coaching, business coaching, my goal is always the same: to make you and those around you better.
We have a podcast which currently has 189 episodes with interviews, encouraging messages, leadership book reviews, and one off personal growth episodes.
In the end my purpose and life goal is to make people better than when I first met them!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been smooth at all!
Last year I told people it was my most rewarding and successful year but my most challenging. When you’re growing a business from the bottom up, you’re funding it yourself along with bringing your family with you. Your choices affect the entire family and that goes with time and financially. The buy-in of the family can make or break entrepreneurs. The road is definitely challenging but worth it. I do not want to end life with “what if” questions. From losing large clients to not getting anyone to look at your offers. It is tough but rewarding. Rewarding because I get to see people take their potential and make it a reality!

How do you define success?
Success is influence and not manipulation. It is a place of fulfillment that comes with helping others and not myself. Success to me does not have a $ amount because each client I have is different and comes from different backgrounds. Success is meeting people where they are at, helping them see where they can go, and helping them get there. Success is WE not ME based.
