Hidden Gems: Meet Christopher Hitchcock of Noble Crest Ventures | HT Elevations | Billboard Asset Management

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Hitchcock.

Hi Christopher, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Real estate, for me, started long before I ever held a license. As a young boy living in the Middle East around the age of six or seven, I was exposed early to the contrast between opportunity and hardship. I would see people without homes, sleeping on the streets, while I was fortunate enough to have a space of my own, provided by my parents. My father was a petroleum engineer, and my mother worked as a nurse. In my playroom, I would spend hours building homes and entire cities out of Legos, imagining one day I could create something big enough to house the people I saw on my way to school. Their own little homes made of Legos. At the time, it felt like imagination. Looking back, it was the beginning of something much deeper than I could have ever imagined.

My family moved to the United States in 2000, when I was 13. As I grew older, I pursued higher education, initially studying petroleum engineering to follow in my father’s footsteps, before transitioning into computer science after moving from San Antonio to Austin. During that time, I worked in fine dining restaurants, where I discovered a passion for sales, communication, and service. I have always been drawn to people, to understanding them, and to finding ways to help improve their lives. This mainly derives from the fact that I am an only child as well.

Real estate was always being whispered in my ear by those close to me, suggesting that I should be a realtor and that I resembled the “Property Brothers”. However, it all truly came into focus about four years ago, when I decided to obtain my license while still in college, initially viewing it as a part-time opportunity. That mindset shifted quickly. In my first month, I closed nine leases, and within my first year, I helped over 45 families find homes. At that point, I made the decision to fully commit, putting college on pause and stepping into real estate as my career.

Shortly into my second year, my father passed away. He was my hero and a major influence in my life. In the midst of that loss, I took on the responsibility of remodeling his home in San Antonio and converting it into a rental property. That experience accelerated my growth in two ways: it forced me to develop a high level of time management, and it gave me hands-on experience in construction and renovation. Around that same time, I also went under contract on my first new construction home, which became my primary residence. Building this home, alongside Tri-Pointe Homes, allowed me to have hands-on training before development truly took it’s course in my vision.

Not long after, an opportunity emerged to step into development. A close friend of mine moved to Austin to build homes, and through ongoing conversations, we began to see the bigger picture. We launched our own development company with a focus on acquiring land and older homes, particularly from the 1950s and before, then transforming them into new, high-quality housing that contributes to the growth and accessibility of the city.

Today, I operate as a realtor, investor, property manager, and developer. In many ways, the Lego cities I built as a child have truly come full circle, not as a plan I consciously followed, but as something that was always part of my path. My work now allows me to serve at multiple levels, helping families buy and sell homes, providing quality rental housing, and building new developments that create long-term value for communities.

The journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and it continues to evolve. Looking ahead, my vision is to scale our development company, HT Elevations, into international markets, with a long-term goal of building high-rise developments in Dubai within the next 5 to 10 years. Being that I also lived in Dubai as a child, the vision now ties back to where this all began, creating spaces, opportunities, and communities that have a meaningful and lasting impact to society.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been the opposite of smooth, which is why I fell in love with personal development and growth overall. I now chase discomfort because I understand (through experience) that the most difficult doors to open always lead to the largest paths of progress. When I pour into myself, I am able to pour into others at the highest level.

There have been many challenges and struggles that have consisted of transactions falling apart, to the market being one of the toughest real estate markets since the 2008 crash. Just for context, I became licensed on In June 15th of 2022, as soon as the boom in Austin was at it’s peak and on it’s way down… which is also when interest rates shot up from the low 3’s to the high 7’s.

Additionally, and most importantly, when I lost my father, I also almost lost my purpose. That was the biggest struggle of my entire life. In addition to the loss, I had to keep my composure for my clients (who already viewed me as an optimistic individual) so that I could continue to guide them in the right direction toward the most meaningful purchases/sales of their lives.

The bitter sweet turnout from this, is that my biggest struggle also became my biggest super power as my purpose was re-designed and built stronger from his passing. Allowing me now to stand for something greater than I ever thought I could be, and carry forward his legacy in a way that drives me to serve others at the highest level. I now have more meaning and purpose than I ever have in my entire life, and I strive to make him proud every single day.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Noble Crest Ventures | HT Elevations | Billboard Asset Management ?
Noble Crest Ventures serves as the foundation and long-term vision behind my work in real estate, bringing together development, investment, property management, and residential sales into one cohesive platform focused on building lasting value.

Through Noble Crest Ventures, I take a strategic approach to identifying opportunities, structuring investments, and scaling a portfolio designed for both growth and long-term income. The goal is not just to participate in the market, but to build within it intentionally, creating assets that contribute to both individual wealth building and long-term community development.

Under this umbrella, HT Elevations operates as the development arm of the business. We specialize in acquiring land and underutilized properties, particularly in high-growth areas of Central Texas, and transforming them into modern, high-quality homes. Our focus is on delivering well-designed housing that supports the evolving needs of both homeowners and investors, while positioning ourselves for larger-scale development projects in the future.

Additionally, my role with Billboard Asset Management (Brokerage) allows me to stay actively engaged in the day-to-day market, representing clients in buying, selling, leasing, and managing properties. This hands-on involvement provides a real-time understanding of market dynamics, which directly informs both development decisions and investment strategy.

What sets my work apart is the ability to operate across multiple layers of real estate, from transaction-level execution to long-term development and portfolio growth. Rather than focusing solely on individual deals, I approach every opportunity with a broader perspective, aligning each move with long-term objectives and overall market positioning. I also focus on the economic and financial aspect of real estate, which elevates my overall ability to serve my clients and provide further insight they may have overlooked.

Brand-wise, I am most proud of building a platform centered around service, adaptability, and execution. Whether working with first-time clients, seasoned investors, or developing new housing, the mission remains consistent: to create value, build trust, deliver results at a high level, and carry forward a legacy that helps others build their own.

Looking ahead, the focus is on continuing to scale Noble Crest Ventures and HT Elevations into larger developments and strategic partnerships, with a long-term vision of expanding into international markets and contributing to projects on a much broader scale.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned throughout my journey is to trust the process, stay committed to growth, and genuinely enjoy the path along the way.

Early on, I realized that the more I invested in myself, through education, skill development, and understanding the broader landscape of finance, taxes, and market dynamics, the more value I could bring to others. Real estate, especially over the past few years, has not been a simple “list and wait” environment. It has required strategy, adaptability, and the ability to solve problems at a high level for clients navigating an ever-changing market.

That shift in mindset has allowed me to move beyond transactions and into truly advising, helping clients buy, sell, and invest with confidence based on a deeper understanding of the market. Additionally, It has allowed me to meet others where they are in life, so that the process feels more like “teamwork” than “employee and management” based. This has also led to long-lasting relationships that go beyond any transaction.

At the same time, learning to trust the process and embrace the journey has given me a level of patience and perspective that is critical in this industry. Not every deal moves quickly, and not every situation is straightforward. Being able to detach from outcomes while staying fully committed to the process allows me to pivot and better support my clients, especially during moments of uncertainty.

Ultimately, the greatest lesson has been that setbacks are not roadblocks, they are part of the path. As long as you continue to learn, adapt, and move forward, there is always a way through. That belief, combined with a commitment to daily growth, is what continues to shape both my business and the way I serve others.
