Hi Dessiny, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey as a beauty expert at a very young age. I would watch my grandmother put on makeup in her mirror & think to myself, “I have to be pretty like my NayNay.” She is the epitome of a woman being beautiful in their most authentic self. As I grew into a teenager, I would flip through magazines & aspire to be as bold and creative as socialites and celebrities. In my young adult years, I was dishonest with myself regarding my career path. I was working as a makeup artist in the beauty industry, but I kept struggling with college and telling myself that I was going to be a lawyer. At some point, I faced my reality and accepted my desire to be a beauty professional. I have a true passion for making others feel good about themselves!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This road has not been easy, but it hasn’t been a road less traveled as well. I’ve had people doubt me, I’ve doubted myself, I’ve been depressed, I’ve lost interest, I’ve lost everything. But one thing I can say is through all of that, I remained steadfast and I never gave up.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Full Circuit Beauty?
I am a licensed Esthetician specializing in full body waxing, skincare, lash extensions & makeup artistry. I’ve been in the industry for over ten years, and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to meet and work alongside some very empowering people. Of course, making money is great but what motivates me the most is seeing satisfied clients. That’s what sets me apart from most. Anyone who receives a service from me is someone I genuinely care for. Most are afraid or uneducated about the services I offer, and I know I’ve been placed here to reach one to teach one.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people are super surprised to find out that I offer full body waxing services to men. My brand is ALL inclusive!
