Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristi Quebedeaux.
Hi Kristi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story is really a testimony of how God can take our deepest pain and turn it into purpose.
I didn’t begin in the credit or mortgage world. For years, I worked as a stylist, serving people from behind the chair, listening to their stories, and learning how to show compassion. At the same time, God was shaping me through ministry in my church and through the discipline of being an IFBB figure competitor. Those experiences strengthened me long before I knew how much strength I would need.
My life took a devastating turn when my daughter passed away. Losing her shattered me. I didn’t know how to move forward, but God met me in my grief. He gave me a new mission, not to replace my pain, but to use it. During that season, I wrote a book for mothers who had lost babies or children, because I never wanted another mama to walk that valley alone. That book became part of my healing and part of my ministry.
Around this same time, I stepped deeper into the mortgage industry and started seeing how many people were being denied the chance at homeownership , not because they weren’t responsible, but because nobody had ever taught them how credit truly works. God put a burden on my heart to stand in that gap.
That’s how FX Your Score was born. It wasn’t a business idea , it was a calling. It was a way for me to take everything I’d learned, everything I’d been through, and pour it into helping people rebuild their lives.
As the business grew, God expanded the mission again. I began intentionally hiring and mentoring women who had walked through abuse, trauma, addiction, or incarceration. Women who just needed someone to believe in them. Someone to remind them that their past does not disqualify their purpose. Watching them grow ,professionally, emotionally, and spiritually has been one of the greatest parts of my journey.
Because of that calling, I now also serve in my church’s prison ministry, pouring into women who are still behind those walls. I show up to remind them that they are not forgotten, that God still has a plan for them, and that redemption is real. Many of the women I mentor today started with a story the world counted out but God had other plans.
Today, I use all of it my motherhood, my loss, my healing, my ministry, my mortgage experience, my fitness discipline to help people become mortgage-ready, break generational cycles, restore hope, and rebuild their lives from the inside out.
My journey is simple:
God took my pain, my purpose, and my passion and turned it into a mission to help others rise.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all — my road has been anything but smooth. But every challenge along the way shaped who I am and refined the mission God placed on my life.
I’ve walked through seasons that broke me open losing my daughter, rebuilding my life after grief, and learning how to run a business while healing at the same time. There were moments when I didn’t know if I had the strength to keep going, but God kept placing the right people, opportunities, and clarity in front of me.
Starting a business from scratch wasn’t easy either. I had to learn the credit industry, the mortgage industry, and business operations all at once. I faced financial pressure, self-doubt, and plenty of days where giving up would have been the easier option. But purpose won every single time.
I also made it part of my mission to hire and mentor women who come from abuse, trauma, or incarceration. That has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey but it also comes with challenges. Helping someone rebuild their confidence, trust, and identity takes patience, faith, and unconditional grace. But I wouldn’t change it for anything.
And stepping into prison ministry at my church stretched me in ways I never expected. Walking into those walls, listening to women’s stories, and serving them requires emotional strength but God gives me the exact words and compassion I need every time.
So no, it hasn’t been smooth. But every struggle became fuel.
Every setback became part of my testimony.
And every hardship taught me how to walk in my purpose with more humility, strength, and faith.
I’m grateful for the rough road because it built the woman, the mother, the leader, and the servant I am today.
As you know, we’re big fans of FX Your Score. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business, FX Your Score, is more than a credit repair company it’s a transformation and empowerment program built to help people become mortgage-ready, financially confident, and educated about their rights and their opportunities.
Because of my background as both a mortgage loan officer and a credit expert, I bridge the gap that most people fall through. Many credit companies can dispute, but very few understand what lenders actually look for when approving a home loan. And very few mortgage professionals understand the depth of consumer laws, credit reporting errors, and how to rebuild a file from the ground up. I bring both worlds together which gives my clients a major advantage.

What Sets Us Apart
What makes FX Your Score unique isn’t just the results it’s the heart behind the mission.
Because of my own testimony, I built this company on faith, service, and restoration.
We intentionally hire and empower women who come from backgrounds of trauma, abuse, or incarceration — women who need a second chance, a skillset, and a purpose.
I also serve in my church’s prison ministry, which keeps our mission rooted in compassion and redemption. We’re rebuilding lives, not just credit reports.
Our clients aren’t treated like case numbers or disputes they are treated like people with goals, families, dreams, and futures.

What I Want Readers to Know
If there’s one thing I want people to know about FX Your Score, it’s this:
You are not disqualified from homeownership, financial freedom, or redemption because of your past.
There is always a way forward, and sometimes you just need someone who knows the road and believes in your future.
FX Your Score is here to educate, advocate, empower, and help people step into the life God designed for them homeownership included.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I Like Best
What I love most about our city is the sense of community and connection. There’s something special about the way people show up for each other here whether it’s through church, local businesses, or neighborhood relationships. I meet so many families who are hardworking, faith-filled, and doing their best to build a better future, and it’s an honor to be part of their journey.
I also love the growth happening here. It’s exciting to watch new opportunities open up for families, small businesses, and homeowners. There’s a real spirit of possibility in this city, and that’s something I’m proud to be part of.
What I Like Least
If I had to choose something I like least, it would be the lack of financial education and resources available to everyday people. Not because it’s anyone’s fault, but because so many families fall through the cracks simply because no one ever taught them how credit, lending, and homeownership actually work.
I see so many people who could thrive but they’re navigating systems they were never educated about. That gap is what motivates me to do the work I do every day.
Pricing:
- Our pricing is structured around personalized programs because every credit file and every financial situation is different. Instead of a one-size-fits-all model, we create custom plans based on each client’s goals, their credit report, and where they are in their homeownership journey. We offer tiered programs ranging from basic credit education and strategy sessions to full dispute services, mortgage-readiness coaching, and long-term score transformation programs. This allows clients to choose the level of support that fits their needs and their timeline. What I want people to know is that my focus is always on value, results, and transparency. I don’t believe in quick fixes or “credit magic.” I believe in real transformation, done legally and ethically — and every part of our pricing structure reflects that commitment.
