Megan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Becoming a stay at home mom really changed my life in so many ways. I love being a stay-at-home mom. It’s the best gift of all, but I needed something outside of “just” being a mom. A friend approached me one day and asked if I ever thought of wanting to get into wedding planning and asked if I would help her partially plan and coordinate her wedding. I thought to myself, “That sounds fun! I love being organized, I manage my time well, I’m a people person, and I’m not a procrastinator. What more do I need” and then I told her yes, I would help her. The next week I started taking certification courses, reading all about the wedding and event planning career path, did the paperwork to make my business legit, created promotional items, and more! Then my friend’s wedding finally happened and it was a huge success! All night I heard positive feedback and words of affirmation. That’s when I knew I made the right decision. Continuous hardwork, perseverance, dedication, and the support from my family and friends has got me to where I am today.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it wasn’t always a smooth road. Let’s just say I won’t be able to make everyone happy, Even if I feel I did my best. Having a situation like that come across your path early on in launching your business really takes a toll on you. It broke my spirit and confidence for a bit. I started to second guess myself. Thats when I knew I could learn from that experience and allow myself to grow and become better. That’s what I continue to do. This is what I’m meant to do and I love it!

I offer small event planning services, partial wedding planning, wedding day coordination, and more. What sets me apart from others is that I truly love seeing a beautiful vision come to life and for my client to be happy. I genuinely want to help people do that while alleviating some stress so they can enjoy the beautiful moment and event. My services are tailored to what each client’s needs. It may be unique, small, whatever. I will try my best to fulfill them within reason of course.
