Hidden Gems: Meet Monica Grosu of EverAgent

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monica Grosu.

Hi Monica, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am originally from Romania where I grew up. I graduated from University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. While I was pursuing my degree, I won Miss University and Miss Romania titles and I represented Romania at the prestigious Miss Universe Pageant in 1995 in Namibia. Later I married Mihai a businessman and established in Belgium where our two kids were born. We moved to the US in 2015. I combined my technical skills and my captivation for esthetics and luxury into the Real Estate business. My previous experience includes working in the field of construction, transport, real estate, and tourism. In my free time, I enjoy teaching the art of runway modeling, posture, expression. Languages spoken: English, French, Romanian

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am fortunate to have a great entrepreneur as my husband by my side. He gave me the support system I needed to run a successful business so in that sense, it was pretty smooth. When I came to the US, my English skills were not as good but that didn’t discourage me. It actually pushed me to learn more and become fluent in English. I remember when I first took the online real estate course, I ordered books to help me broaden my writing skills. I am now fully confident in my communication skills.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I got my real estate brokerage license in 2021 and recently became the sole shareholder of EverAgent which is a real estate brokerage with a property management division and an international real estate platform. No matter the role I play, either the owner, the broker, the property manager or the sales coordinator, I always put a high emphasis on quality, attention and commitment to all my clients, providing the highest level of professionalism and integrity. We have great plans for the agents. They benefit from our Rewards Check and from our unique Broker Partnership program which we call it “Retirement system without paying a fee”. We created an International Real Estate Platform (realtybap.com) which connects real estate agents and brokerages from all around the world. They all benefit from large scale exposure, more leads, more referrals, more business, along with making friends with people from all around the world. Real estate: I enjoy working with my clients. Whether they’re selling their home for top dollar or buying a new home with the best features, I make sure I provide my professional expertise throughout the entire process and keep in touch with them after the transaction is finished for future collaboration.

Property management: I successfully managed properties ever since I came in the US, handling everything for the landlords and creating a good atmosphere for the tenants.

My personal ventures also include investing in rental properties.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
What we all have learned is that no matter what crisis we are going through we can find ways to work and create a good environment around us. The Covid-19 crisis gave real estate market a push, creating more business for real estate agents.
