Hidden Gems: Meet Solé Romero

Today we’d like to introduce you to Solé Romero.

Hi Solé, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was introduced to spirituality and holistic medicine at a very young age by my mother. She was passionate about the healing arts, angel numbers, spirituality, and the metaphysical realms in general. On the other side of the isle, my father was a politician and now a professor. Both parents prioritized helping people and bettering the planet. So in many ways, I found myself in the middle of the two worlds. I think this pairing really helped me find myself as one who can relate to both science and spirituality. A bridge between worlds.

I went to college at The University of North Carolina and graduated with a BA in Psychology. That sort of propelled me into my work and gifts as a healer and space holder. Since then I’ve been crafting my work. I have found my work and career ever-evolving alongside my own personal evolution. I think that’s a part of doing this kind of work. As you change and evolve, more of your gifts bloom with you.

These days I teach meditation and do holistic healing work both in person and virtually. I feel that I’m here to bring consciousness to this kind of work and to facilitate the awakening of humanity.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t call it a smooth road although it has always been downstream. I think once you really find your path and commit to your own personal awakening journey, it just kind of takes you. But where it takes you is not necessarily smooth or easy. It takes you through the fire of your own evolution. It takes you through the unlearning process. It takes you through huge loss and change and transformation.

I lost my mom about six years ago which was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever gone through. She really curated much of who I am.

So to say it has been smooth would undermine my path, but I can say it has been everything I could’ve ever asked for and more in my process of becoming.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work is the toolkit of all of the ways that I have found myself liberated from the confines of myself and of society. Talking things through. Identifying areas of growth and healing, and creating a vision for the next level. Meditation. Energy work. Healing. This is what I do in my work.

I hold one-on-one sessions where I first just chat with people about what’s going on in their lives. What they want to let go of and what they want to see more of. People often come to me a pivotal times in their lives and we identify what’s happening and what the next steps are. Then I guide them through a meditation that facilitates that process. Unlearning what’s not working. Reprogramming the subconscious to facilitate the changes. And using energy work and awareness to heal the parts that are stuck or frozen. I get an energy read as I go through the meditation and share that at the end as well.

I also teach meditation virtually now. I hold classes for individuals and corporations. This is something I’m currently in the process of expanding. I have many big companies that I hold weekly meditation classes for – their leaders and their teams. This is with a company that I recently partnered with named Have Zen – Will Travel.

What matters most to you?
I care about building a new world. I call it the new paradigm. And I think it’s built with each person committing to their own spiritual journey, their own awakened path.

I know from my own personal experience and the work with my clients, that life can be so much more magical and empowered than what society has normalized. To simply feel good in your mind and body and to live in your truth and power is such a high experience. My goal is to blanket the world in new possibility and higher ways of being.
