Inspiring Conversations with Aileen Warren of Fleur Reverie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aileen Warren

Hi Aileen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Founded in Austin, TX, Fleur Reverie was born from Aileen and Zachary’s desire to redefine how we align our spaces to reflect and balance our natural energy. Their passion for nature, sophistication, and artistry led them to develop advanced preservation techniques that allow real flowers to retain their beauty for years with no maintenance.

True balance comes from aligning the five elements in nature to create harmony and support emotional growth: Metal (clarity and focus), Water (flow and emotional flexibility), Wood (strength and renewal), , Fire (passion and motivation) and Earth (grounding and stability). Fleur Reverie helps fill those gaps through preserved floral art, creating a complete sense of balance and renewal in any space.

Fleur Flow creates calm and balance, guiding you toward peace and mindfulness through Zen, Restore, and Harmony. Fleur Energy fuels motivation and strength, helping you feel empowered through Balance, Empower, and Growth.

At Fleur Reverie, beauty isn’t fleeting—it’s a reflection of life’s natural rhythm. When your space reflects all elements, life flows more effortlessly.

Let it flow.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges I faced when starting Fleur Reverie wasn’t just about perfecting the preservation process or creating beautiful designs—it was helping people understand that flowers are more than just decoration. Most people choose flowers based on color or appearance without realizing how different types, shapes, and arrangements can directly affect their mood and mindset.

Many customers didn’t know that structured, bold flowers can evoke confidence and strength, while soft, flowing designs create a sense of calm and relaxation. It took time to educate people on how the right floral arrangement can shift the energy in their space and influence how they feel. Some customers were surprised when they realized that certain color combinations could make them feel more balanced, while others might cause emotional tension.

Changing this mindset meant more than just selling flowers—it required thoughtful storytelling and connection. I had to guide people toward seeing floral design as a form of self-care, a way to create emotional balance and flow in their everyday lives. Over time, customers began to understand that flowers aren’t just about looks—they have the power to ground, inspire, and restore.

This shift in understanding has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey. Fleur Reverie isn’t just about creating floral art—it’s about helping people reconnect with themselves through thoughtful, intentional design.

As you know, we’re big fans of Fleur Reverie. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?

Whether it’s a gift, a statement piece for your home, or a floral installation for an event, our goal is to help you create lasting moments of beauty, strength, and calm.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has played an interesting role in both my life and the journey of Fleur Reverie. In the early stages of building the business, I experienced moments of both good luck and bad luck that shaped the path forward.

Some of the good luck came from unexpected opportunities—meeting the right supplier at the right time, connecting with customers who truly resonated with the brand, and having designs go viral when I least expected it. Those lucky breaks gave me the momentum and confidence to push forward, even when the road ahead wasn’t clear.

But bad luck also played its part. Early on, I struggled to find the right preservation techniques, faced supply chain delays, and even had product failures that forced me to rethink my approach. At the time, it felt frustrating—but looking back, those challenges taught me how to refine my process and strengthen the foundation of the business.

What I’ve learned is that luck—both good and bad—isn’t something you can control. What matters most is how you respond to it. The key is to stay open, adaptable, and willing to learn from setbacks while maximizing opportunities when they come your way. Fleur Reverie was built not just on good fortune, but on resilience, thoughtful design, and a belief that the right energy and flow can create lasting success.
