Hi Elisa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It’s been such an amazing journey! My story really started back in Mexico City, where I grew up with a big heart for people and a real passion for business. I earned my Bachelor’s in Business Administration and later my Master’s in Marketing, which set the foundation for everything I do today.
Before I started my journey in real estate, I spent over 15 years in the mortgage and customer service world. That experience was the foundation of my Career—it gave me an understanding of the financial side of buying a home and taught me that great service always comes down to listening carefully and truly caring for your clients.
Twenty years ago, my family and I took a leap of faith and relocated to Texas. The moment we arrived in Austin, we fell in love with the warmth of the community and knew this was home. As I got settled, I realized I could combine my finance background, marketing skills, and love for helping others to guide people through one of the biggest milestones of their lives: finding or selling their home.
Making the move into real estate felt so natural. I had the privilege of serving as a top agent at Keller Williams for years before joining the amazing team at KSA Realtors. Today, I’m so proud to serve both English and Spanish-speaking families across the Austin area, while staying deeply involved in empowering local Spanish-speaking women.
Looking back, getting to where I am today came down to three simple things that guide me every single day: kindness, patience, and treating every client like family!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think any truly rewarding journey is not completely smooth! Looking back, my path has had a few big changes that really tested and shaped me.
Moving my entire family from Mexico City to Texas twenty years ago was a huge transition. Starting over in a new country is not easy meant rebuilding everything from scratch, adapting to a new culture, and learning how to navigate life in a new market. It takes courage to step out of your comfort zone like that, but it also taught me so much about resilience and adaptability.
Looking back, those struggles ended up being my greatest strengths. Navigating my own relocation gave me empathy for clients going through major life moves. And starting fresh taught me that when you approach people with genuine kindness, honesty, and a desire to help, doors always open and keep them Open all the way

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Yes!
Looking back, here are the three huge points I would love to recommend:
1. Focus on Relationships
it’s easy to focus on numbers and transactions. But true success comes from building relationships. Treat people with kindness, listen to their stories(always listen first), and always put their needs first. When you care about your people, the success follows naturally.
2. Be proud of your Story
Don’t try to fit into someone else’s box!
I realized that my unique background—moving from Mexico City, speaking Spanish, and bringing 15 years of mortgage experience—was actually my biggest strength. Whatever your background is, own it and use it to serve with love others!
3. Be Patient with Yourself
I think this is the most important point, wish I knew early on that building a meaningful business takes time and effort, nothing is easy. There will be quiet seasons and learning curves (a lot), and that’s completely normal. Trust the process, keep showing up everyday, even the hardest days and remember that consistency always pays off.
My favorite reminder: Never be afraid to ask for help, you always need the expertise and always remember why you started in the first place.
