Hi Karica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in a cult called Pentecostal or UPC, it’s a very spiritual branch of Christianity. As a child, I witnessed first hand the power of God but could feel the undercurrent of despair in the people around me. They experienced the Holy Spirit, miracle healings, etc and yet something was missing… Joy, acceptance of their true nature and compassion for others and so many parts of themselves that they had to bury away.
I was always guided by a deep sense of inner knowing and could feel what was true (for me at least) and I knew there was another way. A way that saw the magic in every aspect of our humanness, that also honored nature, in addition to deep connection to God.
my journey with the mysteries began around age 18, when I had a spiritual awakening during class one day. A soul memory was download into my consciousness and in that moment I knew this would become my life’s work.
So I spontaneously quit doing drugs, cut off my friends, moved back in with my parents and started reading books on mysticism and operating from my value system.
Eventually I moved to Seattle where I was able to find the right mentors who helped me stand in my truth, cultivate my gifts and realize that I didn’t have to choose between God and My Own Becoming.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been an easy one but I am thankful for all that I’ve been through.
My childhood was intense, my parents were rivals which lead to a toxic home environment, where it was always men against women. Women’s voices weren’t valued or considered and I was the black sheep for speaking up, seeing things differently and being unwilling to follow the path laid out for me.
After my grandpas suicide when I was 9 things really fell apart for our family. The war intensified and I felt so alone. My first obvious psychic experience was about a month before his death when I told my mom that he was going to pass away. She of course, didn’t believe me. After his death I was absolutely overcome with sadness and rage that ruled me for many years. He was my person.
I struggled through adolescence with recklessness, anger, depression, sexual impulses, drug use— anything that offered me a sense of temporary relief. It was hard for me to have healthy relationships with anyone since my childhood environment was so toxic. I had to do a lot of work to be at peace with myself and have stable, healthy relationships with friends and partners.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I offer spiritual healing and teach classes on psychic development, shamanic healing and personal transformation.
I specialize in helping people get in touch with their life purpose, integrate wounds and claim the soul gifts that are their birthright.
What’s unique about my work is I combine ancient shamanic healing technology with astrology to help people heal and get in alignment—so they can start creating their life from that deeply rooted place—And ultimately become the person of their dreams, who can access their highest timeline.
What sets me apart is I’m very grounded, in the spiritual community, a lot of people have “taken flight” and aren’t really doing the work or walking the walk. I operate from a very strong value system: love, truth and authenticity—I will never recommend someone take psychedelics (or drugs) or outsource their inner authority to “gurus”. My work is focused on you becoming your own authority— within.
I’m most proud of my online course, Returning To Gnosis, it’s a psychic development guide that helps people reconnect to that part of themselves— ‘the one who knows’.
I love supporting people in reclaiming their intuition and discernment. It’s radical work and SO needed for the times we’re living in. It’s how we can actively do our part in creating heaven on earth.
My next guide will drop late summer/early fall and will be focused on shamanic healing and working with your birthchart to integrate wounds and claim your gifts.
I also offer 1:1 healing sessions where we transmute blockages and stagnation, so you have access to more of your personal power, gifts and inner knowing.
How do you think about happiness?
I love the simple life. Living in the country, listening to the birds, growing a garden, sun on my skin, working part time, sewing with my grandma, cooking with my boyfriend, watching the sunset, reading a good book.
Feeling free to live and speak my truth. I spent most of my life under an immense amount of pressure to be a certain way, so it feels liberating to be a woman in my mid 30s, making my own schedule, tending the land and cultivating old world skills.
