Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosemarie (Rome Wilde) Bodrucki.
Hi Rosemarie (Rome Wilde), can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I launched The Joy Channel Podcast in 2019. After years of repeated injuries and illnesses, I realized that something needed to change. “Why do I keep ending up here?” was the question on my mind, and once I asked and observed, the answer was my repeated unconscious behavioral patterns.
I thought working myself to the bone was normal – I thought it showed my dedication. All it did was leave me sick and injured.
I started recognizing my thought patterns as computer code and my brain as the hardware – but as the brain is organic and can grow and change, changing the thoughts I repeated changed the neurological structure. I have a BS in Biology and Psychology from RPI, where I focused my thesis in how chronic pain affected brain structure and function. I drew from my previous research and actually applied it yo myself. I utilized every sense I could to incorporate as many areas of the brain and body as possible and developed The Joy Meditation™️. I realized that feeling constant fear and anxiety was weakening my body and immune system, and that feeling good would do the opposite.
The Joy Meditation™️ allowed me to feel joy at a time when I was so injured I could not get off my back. After laying down for months, I figured out a new way. I increased the joy, relaxed my body, and changed my thought patterns consistently until the only automatic thoughts were the ones of my selection. I was up and moving in a few days, without the pain I’d been suffering from for years.
When my body healed, my art and writing came back along with my zest for life. I launched The Joy Channel Podcast several months later to teach others what I had learned and taught myself.
I moved to Austin shortly after launching the podcast, showed art at my first shows (Soma Vida and Astronomy on Tap) and delved into writing my first booth of neurological rewiring poetry. My poetry utilizes creative language phrasing to say things in multiple different ways to reinforce and illuminate new ways of thinking. My first book came out in 2020 and I performed many of the pieces at local Austin festivals, including Solarpunk Summit and Medicine for the People.
While I no longer live in Austin, I cherish my time there and how I grew and developed as both a person and an artist. I have 4 books of poetry out, and am finishing my first musical album of neuralprogramming affirmation tracks.
I now offer online courses for people to restructure their inner world and live a life they love.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest area of growth for me has been consistency. Instead of being consistent for a few months and then revisiting old patterns, I am now consistent every day. It is just part of who I am to share my knowledge online every day. Deciding that it was easy made it easy. If you decide it’s hard, you’re already creating obstacles in your own mind.
We’ve been impressed with Wealth Wellness LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Wealth Wellness offers coaching, courses, and books for self-development and conscious creation. Select Your Reality guides people through the 8 pillars of life, and The Healthy State program was constructed from everything I did to shift myself from my pain and injured state, into wellness.
Through The Joy Channel Podcast, I educate people on feeling good in their bodies, minds, and lives. There’s a repository of knowledge to help you tune into anything from peace, to bliss, to confidence within minutes. The point of the podcast is really to give tools you can apply to your life, over and over again.
My visual art, poetry, and music are all created from the loving joy and inspiration I get through the practices i share in my podcast and courses. The more you tune in to feeling good, the more of your life reflects that.
My books and poetry explore these ideas through wordplay and creative language that inspire new perspectives of ourselves and the world around us.
Through all my work I am to guide and inspire how much can change when you change within first.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I took a risk when I stepped away from medical writing to pursue the fields that I felt I could help the most people in. I felt limited giving what I now knew from my own personal experiences. I’ve received many messages over the years of how transformative my work has been so I am glad every day that I stepped away from what was safe to share the knowledge I cannot ignore.
