Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddie Sanchez.
Hi Eddie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Edinburg, Tx and was adopted when I was three years old. My childhood wasn’t always easy, but it taught me resilience early on. Sports became a huge part of my life, and they instilled the work ethic and competitive mindset I still carry today.
Life threw some heavy challenges my way. I lost my son, Jeremiah Lee, shortly after he was born in 2017, and later found myself battling depression. Music became more than a hobby. It became therapy and eventually my purpose. Instead of letting those moments define me, I decided to use them as fuel.
Today I’m an independent artist based in Austin, Texas, creating music that blends real life experiences with ambition, humor, and hope. Alongside music, I co-host the Talk 2 Me Nice (T2MN) podcast, where we have authentic conversations, laugh a lot, and build a community around real people with real stories. I also stream live on TikTok, where I’ve built an amazing community that’s supported my music and creative journey from the beginning.
I’m still chasing bigger goals every day, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. My mission is simple: inspire people to keep going, prove that your past doesn’t have to dictate your future, and show that with faith, consistency, and hard work, anything is possible.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not. Every road starts off as dirt before it turns into smooth pavement. You can’t appreciate the smooth ride if you’ve never had to drive through the mud.
I’ve had my fair share of struggles, from losing my son and battling depression to trying to build a career from scratch. None of it was easy, but every challenge made me tougher, strengthened my faith, and reminded me why I started in the first place.
I’m still grinding, still learning, and still paving the road. The difference now is I know every rough patch is temporary if you refuse to stop moving.

I’m an independent artist, content creator, and podcast host based in Austin, Texas. Through my music, I tell stories that are honest, relatable, and rooted in real life. Whether I’m making a motivational anthem, a heartbreak record, or something people can just vibe to, I want listeners to feel like they’re hearing someone who’s actually lived it.
Outside of music, I co-host the Talk 2 Me Nice (T2MN) podcast, where we bring people together through genuine conversations, laughter, and different perspectives. I also stream live on TikTok, where I get to connect with my community every day, create music in real time, and give people a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a number or an accomplishment. It’s the community I’ve built. Knowing people have found hope, motivation, or simply a place to laugh because of something I created means more to me than any statistic.
I think what sets me apart is authenticity. I’m not trying to be someone I’m not. I don’t shy away from talking about the highs or the lows because both are part of my story. Whether it’s through a song, a podcast episode, or a livestream, my goal is always the same: to create something real that people can connect with and remind them that no matter where they started, they can build the life they’re chasing.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
One thing I’ve learned is that networking isn’t about collecting contacts. It’s about building genuine relationships. The best opportunities in my career haven’t come from asking, “What can you do for me?” They’ve come from showing up consistently, supporting other people, and creating real friendships.
As far as mentors go, don’t be afraid to reach out, but also understand that mentorship is earned. People are much more willing to invest their time in someone who’s already putting in the work. Ask thoughtful questions, be coachable, and then actually apply the advice you’re given.
What’s worked best for me has been staying consistent and putting myself out there. Whether it’s through music, podcasting, or livestreaming, I’ve met incredible people simply by showing up every day and being myself. You never know who’s watching or who might believe in your vision.
At the end of the day, relationships are everything. Be the kind of person people enjoy working with, stay humble, and never stop learning. Sometimes the right mentor doesn’t find you until you’ve shown you’re serious about your craft.
