Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have tried a lot of different hobbies before trying out photography. Once I learned more about photography… then I knew. This is the one. It’s the one thing I can lose sleep over, miss meals for, and lose track of time for. I’m blessed to have found my creative calling, and I pray for each person to find their own.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing worth doing gives you a smooth road. I think that’s why creating is so beautiful — you tap into that part of you that’s raw who just wants to be heard and understood.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m most proud of the community I’ve been so blessed to be a part of. I’ve met so many other artists that inspire me and I inspire in turn.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Life is a whole lot of taking calculated risks. I have taken a risk uprooting my life and moving to Austin, and I cannot express enough how happy I did. It’s unlocked so much more creativity within me that I never knew existed!
