Today we’d like to introduce you to Benjamin Rizk.
Benjamin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hello! My name is Benjamin Rizk and I am the owner of CCD Security Consulting. I grew up in a small town in Central Texas where i spent most of my early years serving at church and the local community, helping shape a lifelong passion for loving and serving people.
With a strong desire to help the community, I decided to pursue a career in law enforcement. I then spent nearly five years in law enforcement developing leadership and crisis management skills, but it was in serving others that I truly found my calling!
In my most recent law enforcement role, I served as a Crisis Intervention Officer where I learned the key principle that shaped my leadership style, “every decision should be based on God’s love rather than force.”
I then believed that ministry training would be the next step in my heart to serve people so I enrolled at Charis Bible College in 2022. It was here that I got the vision for CCD Security Consulting, a safety training program that allows individuals, the personnel of ministries, organizations and businesses to receive emergency response training training without the costly expense of hiring an outside security agency.
I have fused my crisis management skills with my heart for people in a unique way to deliver a training program that is well rounded and balanced in both service and skill.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My dad past away two years ago so I have been managing his affair while simultaneously running my business.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
CCD Security Consulting equips individuals to save lives using emergency response training rooted in Biblical principles. The key element that sets us apart from others is that we train from a ministry mindset. Meaning that we filter every aspect of our business through the lens how Jesus would see others around us. I heard a saying a long time ago that has really stuck with me over the years, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” I not only see this as a business, but a privilege to serve other people day in and day out. Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for that one person!
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Make decisions based on peace, not always logic.
