Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Jiselle. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Fuego Fash is an online store owned by two sisters, Brianna Olvera and Lizette Olvera. Fuego started a little over a year ago, right before COVID. We had the idea of creating the store, and there was no stop after that. We got licenses, knowledge and learned what to do! When the pandemic started in the U.S. it gave me (Bri) time to be home, when I spent my entire time on campus at the time and only saw my sister in the evenings if possible. In March of 2020, we were really able to be together and continue the next steps to creating our Business. We launched our online site on June 5, 2020 and from there, it’s only been growth. We started to do in-person shopping experiences this March in San Antonio and now in Austin, Texas.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, it has been a very smooth road when we look back but we do struggle on those early mornings we have to continue pushing the store in order for success and were super tired! Haha, sometimes either one of us can just be having an off day but we have to be a team and do what we know is best for the store!
And truly not having space for the growth, because we started with a small collection in the beginning and were online only and now we have racks of clothing and items we need for the online business and pop-ups!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m extremely creative and it shows through anything I do. Currently, with Fuego Fash, I create all our photos, videos, text, promo, social media content, online content, website design, marketing designs.. etc. But all this has come from who I have become throughout the years. I’ve always been active online. From being a Makeup Artist, Leader on my campus, New reporting, and Interviews, to now a business owner and more.
Throughout the years, I’ve definitely shown my love for creating content online or in the media. Now with Fuego Fash, it allows me to do all that every day.
I’m most proud of the hustle and dedication I have for it that has gotten me this far.
How do you think about happiness?
Creating this brand that truly represents me, my sister, and is a confidence booster for everyone else makes me the happiest. It’s always a great experience when people you don’t know come up and love everything we have created with the store and represent. It’s like yes, a connection!
Then it’s seeing them be FUEGO and take our clothes and style it up and create memories in them and we know they were out feelings their HOTTEST in our pieces!
It’s the amazing growth with the store and to be able to offer new opportunities to other local businesses as well when we host events.
And just knowing it’s possible.
