Hi Clarita, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Madame Clarita, and tarot reading has been part of my life since childhood. My knowledge and spiritual practices were passed down through generations of my family — from my grandmother to my mother, and then to me. Over the years, I developed my own style of guidance focused on helping people find clarity, direction, and peace during difficult moments in their lives.
I have been working in spiritual guidance and tarot for over 40 years, helping people with love, relationships, career decisions, energy cleansing, and personal growth. I also spent many years working throughout Latin America providing spiritual services and learning from different traditions and experiences along the way. I eventually came to Austin to expand my business and share my services with a wider community. Today, I continue to combine traditional spiritual knowledge with a personal, compassionate approach that has allowed me to build long-term relationships with many people.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like many small business owners, the road has not always been easy. Building and maintaining a spiritual business takes a lot of dedication, patience, and trust from the community. One of the biggest challenges was moving to Austin and rebuilding my business in a new city. Starting over in a different community required hard work and persistence, but it also gave me the opportunity to meet amazing people and grow both personally and professionally.

I have practiced traditional Spaniard tarot since childhood, with knowledge and spiritual traditions passed down through generations of my family. As a curandera, I also provide spiritual services and energy cleansings designed to help people remove negative energy, restore balance, and find clarity in their lives. My work combines traditional tarot, spiritual guidance, and healing practices in a way that is personal, compassionate, and rooted in generations of experience.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I work on my own, but I have found people who are willing to work under me in different fields such as numerology. I plan on expanding my business to have different experts and spiritual mentors to help people in need.
