Today we’d like to introduce you to DVND .
Hi DVND, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always been inspired by music! I grew up watching my mother sing and was inspired since I was a child. Since then I picked up a couple instruments and was able to groom my gifts. Now I’ve been taking music seriously as a gift and a lifestyle. Being an artist is all I know now.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s hasn’t been as smooth as I would have hoped, looking back. I can say though, it’s been so inspiring to the point where I feel like I can take on most of my obstacles with ease. So overall it’s been a learning experience for my growth. I’ve gone through being scammed and being sold dreams, like most independent artists, but I’ve also been validated by my own strength, wisdom and intelligence through pursuing my dreams despite those things. That’s more gratifying than I can put into words.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Well, I am a singer, songwriter, composer and producer from Fontana California living in Austin, Texas. I’ve been into music my whole life. I started off with singing like my Mother and then I started playing instruments in school.
I’ve written so much music over the years. I’m constantly inspired by music, especially as a child, even more as an artist. I have a EP out and a couple singles available on all streaming platforms, my most recent one being ‘Goddess’ I’ve performed all over Austin, sharing the stage with some great artists from all over with the most awesome talent!!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I can’t say. Austin is very diverse in many ways. You’ll get what you’re looking for if you’re willing to do the work to attract what you want. Just like in life. I do like that I was able to build. Better life for myself here though. I moved here with nothing. So I’m grateful for Austin.
