Today we’d like to introduce you to Erony Minix.

Hi Erony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Red Rouge LLC was birthed in 2019 by owner and CEO, Erony Minix a Licensed Social Worker who was busy crushing career goals all the while being a full-time mother. Growing up, my “American” Louisiana born and raised mother and family(a warm, loving conservative Catholic family) always joked about my sultry style and made fun of the fact that in every event, I had to “dress up” and had a sultry style, no matter what I was doing or where I was going I ALWAYS had to be Spicy and Sultry! My mother being a modest woman would always say “You are definitely a product of your people!” jokingly referring to my diverse, colorful cultural background from my father and father’s side of my family being from South America. My colorful, very different and fun Immigrant family strongly influenced my spicy, seductive yet tasteful style in my clothing, jewelry and makeup preferences! I credit them for my overall identity as they gave me the confidence to be unique, fearless and to be ok with standing apart from the crowd! I am truly the embodiment of my family.

After giving birth to my two sons, I was always told “You can’t dress spicy anymore” and “You are a mother now!” and “It’s over for you” because of the physical changes that occur in a woman’s body due to pregnancy. I remember holding my son for the first time and these words running over and over in my head thinking, “Is this REALLY IT?!”. Are women truly undesirable or lose confidence after childbirth?”. I was growing increasingly insecure after childbirth and losing my confidence in the fact that YES, I still possessed the power to be confident in MY skin and that being sexy did NOT come to an end just because I was now a mother. The stigma that makes women believe that once a woman gives birth, is a wife, and or chooses a particular career path OR if they do not have society’s standard of an “Hourglass body” that they are not desirable nor can they be sexy. I set out to prove that THAT is the farthest thing from the truth! It became my mission to embrace and help my sisters, one woman at a time put an end to this stigma by creating a brand that reassured women globally that we are all unique and beautiful in our own skin and that YOU are the standard of Beauty! And with this mission, Red Rouge LLC was birthed! Red Rouge LLC is for mothers, wives, CEOs, sisters, curvy women, petite women, for ALL women regardless of where YOU are in the journey of your life! We are all beautifully flawed and that is what makes us all special! All women are unique and beautiful in their skin and we are crushing society’s standard of beauty because YOU are the standard of Beauty!

Red Rouge LLC aims to be your favorite Romantic Wear and Intimates shop as we are here to provide you quality products such as aromatherapy candles, lingerie, etc. to promote and enhance your journey of Self Love and or your intimate journey with your partner. Being sexy is not necessarily what you wear, it is an attitude! It is the way you walk, it is the way you talk, it is your spirit… It is your CONFIDENCE!

Only when you FEEL sexy and confident can you can truly embody the energy of it all! When you feel it… you own it!!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Absolutely… NOT LOL! One major challenge along the way for us were financial struggles. Financial struggles made it somewhat difficult to keep inventory on hand. But then, Covid struck and it was a positive game-changer in how our process works here at Red Rouge LLC. At the beginning of Covid, shipping was a MAJOR challenge but through that we learned that having Inventory and all things needed ON HAND to make the experience a great one for our clients was IMPORTANT as our clients are our number 1 priority! Not that it wasn’t important initially but we did all orders through preorders, before Covid the way we ran Red Rouge LLC wasn’t an issue. And when Covid struck, we were like “Oh No!!” .We vowed to never let inventory and shipping be an issue again so now we have ALL products, packaging, etc. on hand so that shipment is done almost immediately after the website ordering process and that our clients receive their orders in a timely manner!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Apart from my baby (Red Rouge LLC), My initial passion is Social work. I am a Licensed Social worker in the state of Texas and I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Southern California. I am naturally a very caring person and being that I come from very humble beginnings, to be a voice in very many voices of poor and vulnerable communities is my calling in a career path. I specialize particularly in geriatric social work as I am truly passionate about the elder community. I have such respect and adoration for those who came before us (elders) so assisting in making their sometimes very difficult and stressful realities a bit better makes me happy. I can listen to them tell stories of their lives for hours, I truly enjoy listening to their history and accounts of their lives and most times, our seniors just are lonely and just want to someone to talk to. It is unfortunate to me that we are led and taught by those who came before us and now we live in a world that they are kinda just forgotten about and that sucks yet it fueled my fire and my passion to fight for those who can no longer fight for themselves! I LOVE MY SENIOR CITIZENS!

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The Lingerie industry is on fire! There is so many lingerie and Intimate businesses that are on fire right now and I am ELATED to see it! It is highlighting the importance of having a healthy relationship with yourself as well as promoting healthy intimate relationships with your partner. I know for a fact that sooner rather than later, Red Rouge LLC will be a household name just like my forefathers in the lingerie industry such as Victoria’s Secret and Savage Fenty lol. We all have our dreams and the only way you lose sight of it is if you quit and I am definitely not quitting! LOL, I always tell people that my parents didn’t give me this unique name for nothing! The world will remember my name! We will continue to work effortlessly to provide our new and loyal clients with the best experiences so that in their dealings with Red Rouge LLC they can remember our brand as one that they created beautiful memories with. I have past beauties (clients) that have messaged me and stated that they rekindled fires with their partners with the help of my brand by purchasing Romantic wear sets and I swear that is what I do it for. It sounds minuscule to some but to FEEL beautiful is priceless!
