Hi Festus, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Festus Akamo, and I am from Lagos, Nigeria. When I was much younger, I was passionate about helping people to rent and secure comfortable shelters where they could put up and plan their daily activities. Back then, It gives me joy, and I feel fulfilled helping hundred people solve their accommodation problems. After my graduation, I did couple of cooperate jobs, such as a sales representative/sales executive. Bulk of my experiences come from administrative and facility management, where I was part of my company several building Projects. When these projects are completed, the same projects were handed over to my desks for maintenance and management purposes to ensure effective use of such Properties. As a goal and results-oriented person, I decided to explore my passion by picking up a career as Real Estate Broker. I love being part of the transaction that gives real value for money. At the same time, I enjoy seeing people secure a comfortable home of their own seamlessly. Moving forward as a real estate company, FESTAK HOME & PROPERTIES HUB, Our Vision is to contribute immensely towards befitting homes for all humanities. So what we do now as a company, is to bridge the gap between the prospective landlord(s) or home/accommodation seekers to come in contact with the owner(s) and developer (e) of smart contemporary buildings at affordable price deals.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It has been a challenging journey. Anyone who wants to succeed must have the resilience to face the inevitable. We have learned to get up anyway and progress towards our dreams (our Mission and Vision). We are building capacity; Personal Development to mitigate some of our challenges. We are also happy that everyone we have met along the journey has significantly impacted our business (FESTAK HOMES & PROPERTIES HUB). The challenges are many in the business. One of our major challenges is capital (Money). We need capital to check and balance our dependency on building owner(s) and developer(s). If we have access to capital, we will grow from being a broker to partnership so as to be able to influence decision-making and make the prices of Houses more affordable to our customers.
We’ve been impressed with Festak Homes and Investment Hub, but for folks who might need to be more familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our Organization, FESTAK HOMES and PROPERTIES HUB. As real estate broker, we bridge the gap between the Property/House owners and prospective home buyers. We don’t just bridge the gap; we go as far as building a lasting and sustainable bridge between Property owners and Potential buyers/landlords. We also help home/accommodation seekers to search for their choose of accommodation, base on budget with humanly designed terms and conditions. We don’t just sell houses. We sell properties that later turns into assets within a short period after purchase. Clients who have invested under our organization watch are able to secure their investment and, at the same time, enjoy progressive and geometric returns on their investment. We have been in business for over three years. And we have made well over fifty (50) landlords and over 300 people gain access to comfortable homes/Shelters at affordable prices. We are always happy doing these over and over, again and again. It gives us joy even without carving out any commission/monetary gain from all parties involved.

Our major concern in this industry is helping every grown-up and family within and diaspora to have access to comfortable, affordable, low-cost housing scheme. We love to contribute our quota to a working and productive world, where every life is protected with adequate welfare inform of shelter. We will not relent as an organization until smiles are put on faces of our prospective and potential clients. Every life deserves comfortable and affordable accommodation regardless of color, tribe, gender, and religion.
