Taylor Luckett is the founder of Beloved Beauty Supply LLC, an online-based beauty supply store that teaches their customers how to care for, style and love their hair.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey of opening and operating Beloved Beauty Supply has been full of valuable lessons. Two of the major challenges have been acquiring wholesale accounts with international distributors and driving customers towards our e-commerce website, www.belovedbeautysupply.com.
We have risen to the challenge of overcoming these obstacles by partnering with smaller wholesalers with fewer order requirements and attending pop-up shops within our local community, allowing customers to shop in-person or online. Running a small business can be a struggle at times, but we learn from our experiences and continue to grow along the way.

Founded in 2019, Beloved Beauty Supply is a young brand determined to demystify and celebrate the beauty that is ethnic hair. We specialize in providing hair education, hair care and beauty supplies for curly and ethnic hair types. There are beauty retailers and salons that provide hair products and services but rarely do they teach you how to properly care for your hair or how to achieve professional hairstyles on your own. That’s where we come in. We want to teach our customers how to find products and hairstyles that will help them achieve their hair goals.
How do you think about happiness?
What brings us the most happiness as a company is seeing our customers learn what their hair needs to thrive and equipping them with the products and resources to do so. All of us are unique in our own way and we should celebrate our differences. Learning to love and appreciate the hair you are born with helps build confidence and self-worth. Helping others learn to love their hair is what makes us happy.
