Today we’d like to introduce you to Anushree Goel.
Hi Anushree, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always loved to travel and explore the unknown. My interest developed even more when I moved to the United States in 2017 and my work at Amazon allowed me to travel to different countries like Japan, Italy & Costa Rica. As I traveled to different places within the United States & out of the US, thought of sharing my recommendations with the world. I love learning about new cultures and trying different cuisines & hidden gems while managing a full-time job as a Product Manager. I started my Instagram journey as @thetravelscripts in 2019 but really started focusing on it in late 2020; that is when I started exploring more of my neighborhood & beyond during COVID (as the world opened a bit more). All my posts provide a lot of information that helps folks plan their travel. Consistency, sharing details with my audience & going to some of the unknown spots has helped me throughout this beautiful journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been an easy journey juggling between your dreams & work; while also maintaining a Full time Job. Instagram requires consistency and quite a lot of effort/time as you want to share the best possible recommendations with your audience. When I started, all I wanted was to share my story with the world and in 2021 i got an opportunity to travel more which I could share with my close-knit audience. Understanding what your audience is looking for is key while also ensuring you as a blogger can tell your story & maintain the individuality of what Travel means to you. Hoping to travel more of this world, inspire & share with the world.

I have always been very close to the field of Human Resources – started my professional journey back in 2012 as an IT professional and moved to core Human Resources role in 2015. Soon realised I always loved an element of Tech & moved to a Product Manager role within the Human Resources – currently working with Amazon and based out of the SF Bay Area. Simultaneously, working as a Travel blogger as time allows. (Who knows in the future I could take a leap of faith and be a full time travel blogger – what I am secretly wishing for. 🙂 )
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
A fun one – As much as I love water & beaches or water sports, I still don’t know how to swim. I would love to learn that important life skill sometime (probably along with my little one who will be arriving in December 2022). Another one that I would love to share is I belong to the Yoga capital of the world – Rishikesh (India).
