Rising Stars: Meet Celestine Atalie of Austin, TX

Today we’d like to introduce you to Celestine Atalie

Hi Celestine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Grew up as a dancer after my mom enrolled my four sisters and me in class from a young age. My life revolved about ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap, I practiced 6 days a week and although it was exhausting at times, it taught me discipline and drive. I have carried this through my life whenever I’m wanting to achieve a goal, I know it will take commitment and sacrifice but the reward will be beneficial in the end.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I am now a fitness instructor which was definitely a struggle when I first got into it. I thought teaching would be easy because I had already taught dance classes, but it’s very different teaching dance than fitness. There are so many factors you have to understand when creating a safe, well thought out workout program for a client. After taking hours of fitness and nutrition certifications, I’m much more confident today but I’m always still learning.
