Today we’d like to introduce you to Chad Holmin.
Hi Chad , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Like New Building Solutions was originally established in Washington State around 2000. In 2012, we relocated to Texas and began building the business again from the ground up. One of the first steps we took was becoming active in the local Chamber of Commerce and several networking groups to build relationships and establish roots within the community.
For approximately four years, we maintained full-time jobs while steadily growing our client base. By 2018, we had secured several custodial contracts along with smaller service jobs, though growth was still gradual.
In 2020, when COVID-19 impacted businesses across the country, we experienced a significant setback, losing more than half of our income. Despite the uncertainty, we remained grounded in our faith and confident that we would persevere. From the very beginning, our business model has been built on faith, integrity, and trust in God. Even during that challenging season, we continued to see provision and were able to sustain operations.
In 2023, we secured a major account that restored our business to pre-pandemic levels. Seeking continued growth, we remained focused and prayerful in our vision. Less than a year later, we landed our largest account to date—an opportunity that tripled our income and significantly expanded our reach.
Today, Like New Building Solutions proudly services numerous commercial accounts from Manor to San Antonio, continuing to grow while staying rooted in the values that have guided us from the beginning. None of this would have been possible without God. He remains first in our business and, most importantly, in our lives. All glory and honor belong to Him.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No it hasn’t, Covid, and building credibility and partnership with businesses
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Our main work is commercial janitorial services. We also do windows, make ready cleaning, construction cleaning and floor maintenance. I really enjoy dropping by all the locations and talking to my customers. That is what sets us apart from everyone else is the relationships I have with every client
What do you like and dislike about the city?
The best part of the city is the diversity. The least part is the traffic is horrible
