Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Johnson.
Hi Courtney, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been a lover of fashion and after having two little boys and FINALLY getting through the thick of baby stages, I wanted something I could do as a creative outlet. I wanted something that I was excited to wake up and do everyday! I decided to start sharing affordable and effortless looks as well as online sales so that women could have easy and accessible ways to shop.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been A LOT of work! I am growing my following every day and I feel like it has been and still is such a roller coaster. My biggest struggle right now is time. There is never enough time in the day to get it all done. I feel like I have a never-ending to do list! But it truly brings me so much joy so it doesn’t feel like “work”.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a lifestyle content creator. I enjoy fashion as well as beauty, home decor, and a little cooking. Each and every day I post content on Instagram containing outfits, online sales, skincare products, and sometimes a favorite recipe!
As a mom to two wild little boys, I know how important it is to be comfortable yet stylish. I curate outfits that are effortless while also being fashion-forward. I tend to lean more towards classic styles and less trendy items. My current favorite thing to do is find pricier items and then find a very similar option at a much MUCH lower price point. I truly believe you can look stylish with out breaking the bank!
What does success mean to you?
For me, success equals happiness!
I am so happy in life right now! I wake up everyday in a warm home with my husband and two boys and a hot cup of coffee. I share content that I love and interact with sweet followers on Instagram everyday. My family is healthy. I could go on and on about the things that make me happy.
That does not mean life is always easy. Life is hard sometimes, but we grow so much from these hard times. I am so grateful for the hard times!
Because of this happiness and gratefulness, I feel successful!
