Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiarah Howell
Hi Tiarah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Started back in 2017 moving from Delaware to Fort Hood. Needing an outlet from moving so far away with no friends or family. I went to social media. Posting things at the time that two of my children and I found to do. Fast forward 6 years purchased a home, which is currently on the market, and went through a mentally, physically and emotional divorce. Found my now husband to be and started back posting for small business all around the country as well as some local places in Austin. Now having 5 children and planning the wedding of our dreams. Just taking our lives and living it how we want unapologetically. I have him to thank for my now safe space to be a soft woman.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not! The struggles of not seeming weird pulling out your phone or camera asking people to snap photos of you in public. But also directing them to actually get a good shot. Wanting to be authentically you but also have a professional angle, being turned down and watching someone else get the spot that you were fighting for, getting a little bummed out when your video footage or photos don’t turnout how you envisioned. The list goes on but I still tried and have had many success stories.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
So what I do is social media promotion and semi document my life for others to escape their own reality. What Im known for on TIKTOK is Geritol. I went viral before the ban for taking it, not knowing it’s a baby elixir. So over there I document that journey even though I take it for iron deficiencies. Instagram is used mainly for product and store promotions. What sets me apart is my “Benjamin Button” a lot of people do not think I am the age that I am. I’ve gotten as young as 14 to 24 and It shocks everyone when I tell them my actual age.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Trust the process, your race is your own. Meaning I can not compare my journey and my trajectories based on those around me. Enjoy my growth and my accomplishments when they happen for me.
