Tina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started hand modeling seven years ago for a jewelry company out of Atlanta and after that I was booked again as a hand model for a curtain company out of Dallas. From there I was booked as a hand model for a perfume company out of Florida.
Whenever, I see a casting call for hand modeling I always submit myself to it if I meet the specifications for it. Sometimes they may want to see what my hands look like and my previous works. It all depends on what the client or brand is looking for.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, it has been a smooth road for me as a hand model. I’m constantly booked as a top hand model in Austin. I hand model for small and big brands. However, it can be a roller coaster ride. One minute you hot and popping and the next minute you’re slow as a turtle.
When I’m not busy as a hand model you can catch me practicing on my craft, taking care of my hands and nails, or working on other personal projects.

I’m a professional hand model that specializes in mommy hands. Mommy hands means that my nails have to be clean and bare. No polish or artificial nails. My job as a hand model is to showcase the product with my hands. I’m always booked doing mommy hands which usually means I will be modeling some type of product with bare nails.
If I’m booked as a hand model for jewelry they will want me to paint my nails. That type of hand modeling is fashion hands when they want your nails painted and you will be wearing jewelry.
