We recently had the chance to connect with Jeremy Backwoodz and have shared our conversation below.
Jeremy, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I’m chasing music and the life of rock and roll it’s all I know. I won’t stop tell I get to where I want to be. If I stopped I would regret it tell the day I pass away
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Texas drummer specializes in metal , Rock , pop punk and hip hop . But I have played with artist from country to gospel and everything in between
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a loner gamer with a dream to play big sold out shows with a small drum kit and double pedal making it sound huge
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would of told my self to push even harder with music, that it is possible that I would eventually play with Idols and have people take me serious and get me on big stages to never give up and to take it more serious through my younger days

Other musicians / bands in the scene that are levels ahead of me it’s all one big Journey and seeing it happen and people getting signed and famous before my eyes cause they never gave up makes everything make sense

Follow your dreams and don’t stop ever tell u get to where u want to be . I want to be looked at as someone who never gave up and actually saw it through tell the end and reached all the goals I could of set
